    I’m looking forward to this weekend and on..
    When smaller bucks are going crazy the big boys seem to be week or so behind,id assume they’re looking for last hot/mature doe’s,I’m excited about the temps!

    When I was up this last weekend everyone we talked to that fished the river said they were going to lake next day.
    But alot can change quick this time of year..

    Went out of Morris today.WINDY!! but caught fish from 13′-20′ shallower was better for bigger eaters(15″-17″ vs 12″-15″ers).
    Jig and shiners.(border bait has great shiners btw..)

    Bullheads.
    I fish marine to Taylor’s falls 90% of the time. There’s good fish(I’ve got a 60″×30″). If your camping I sure as !%$# would have a line out at night while sitting by the fire. Cast out a bullhead on one rig and cut bait on another, not a lot of flatties on that stretch but oodles of channels!

    They make a good sandwich if your ever passing thru at lunch also..
    Great bacon! I’d put it right up with nueskes stuff. Incredible when baked and not pan fried waytogo

    Try it..
