Will be up there this weekend (arrive early Friday) so will have an ice/fishing report for anyone interested. Have fished LOTW a bunch but never this early. Will be a good change of pace from the typical wheelhouse rat race!

Sounds like it is getting close, depending on the weather the rest of the week. And the level of risk that you find acceptable.
Grizzly, are you planning on going up for early ice?

December 7, 2020 at 5:40 pm #1995028We are going up in about a week to check out our place on the river and swing down by longville and pick up new boat. Not sure on fishing
December 7, 2020 at 6:56 pm #1995058I know Ballards is holding off this weekend. 4 mile bay is good but the big lake only has 5 or 6 inches and some spots with less.
December 8, 2020 at 9:29 am #1995235As of now the plan is to fish out of Wigwam, who will be opening up their road for atv and sled access on Thursday. As long as we make it that far, the temps start dropping Friday so everything should be fairly solid from there on.
December 28, 2020 at 12:07 pm #2001038Anyone make it out this last weekend? Heading up early Friday morning!
