I also have wave pro bases. I had a marine upholstery shop cut my carpet to the sides of the bases and sew in new seams. I can now take out the carpet with ease.

If the minor setback keeps the nets out, it’s a win. The ice will be off in plenty of time before the opener

ChrisMay 26, 2012 at 5:19 am #1071492I personely dont measure every fish and as pictures go i dont take a picture unless it can be done in a resonable amount of time. That protective slim does come back. I have had a place on Mille Lacs for years so i am not new to this. Also i fished tournaments for years and can say most of the tournaments are kill tounaments. In a tournament setting you are penalized for fish that won’t recover which encourages you to take care of your fish much more than launching it out of the boat

April 5, 2012 at 3:06 am #1055826The answer is actually no. The reason being water is natuarly sticky. By waxing the hull and makeing it smooth more water can stick and slow you down. When your hull is not waxed it is rougher in a sense creating less drag and the boat will be faster. I know of guys that actually lightly sand the hull for more speed.

July 2, 2010 at 1:53 am #884105Sorry to hear about the bad experience. It sounds like the part that broke the weld in your actuator. Typically the weld lets use if water gets inside of it threw the breather hose. If it is the actuator there is not a fix except replacing it. Feel free to shoot me a pm and i would be glad to see what i can do for you.
