Ice out

    I saw the ice went out on the Ash river last Friday so The lake ice should be out by May 1st or close to it.

    Any feel if this is early, late or about normal?

    The median ice out for Kab looks to be 4/29.

    I would say about normal. I go up every year for opener and ice out usually comes a week or two prior.
    The lake is higher than normal for this time of year though, almost 3 ft higher right now than last year at this time.

    I also have wave pro bases. I had a marine upholstery shop cut my carpet to the sides of the bases and sew in new seams. I can now take out the carpet with ease.

    Ice is pulling back and bays are opening. Still main lake ice.
