That sucks Flatwalter. But, will this be the “normal” winter level now?
March 16, 2010 at 6:53 pm #854204As of Tuesday morning, Trail 8, Trail 10, and Willow Point our open. Ewe can creep in two the marina cove with a small boat. Their is a strip of open water along the damn, by the mourning glory, but otherwise is socked in by a bout 100 yds of white ice. The main portion of the remaining ice is honeycombed. Trail 3 has dark ice, but will take a little while longer to meld. Hope this helps and sorry for my grammer and spelling. Sherm
June 25, 2009 at 5:13 pm #786578Jorg- We might be fishing those willows for a while if these rains keep coming.
March 16, 2009 at 10:20 pm #759222I have a small plug I put in mine when not in use. Seems that the local wasps like to build their homes in it. One more thing to remember every time I go out.
March 2, 2009 at 1:47 am #753875Lake Athapapaskow MB. Jiggin for lakers, walleyes, and a northern pike if we get bored. This will be dad’s 33rd year, so why quit now!
June 22, 2008 at 1:05 pm #694249Ok- It’s hard to get too serious with a 2 y/o in a 14′ tiller!! Made it out for about an hour and did ok. I was throwing the drum in a 5 gal bucket, and that kept the small one intertained for most of the hour.
June 20, 2008 at 4:06 pm #693975Looks like “they” lowered the lake around 1′ as of last weekend. You can see every jetty A OK.
June 11, 2008 at 2:45 pm #691820I have yet to field test this, but my neighbor swears by listerine mouth wash. Says it kills them dead. Anybody else use it?
February 26, 2008 at 8:40 pm #659197UNL, the only bad part, is that Leadville is on the wrong side of the Continental Divide. Hopefully, they are having the same problems on this side of “The Tunnels”.
November 8, 2007 at 4:49 pm #623291Drove the other side of the river that what I can hunt on the way home this am. Saw 4 decent bucks each with a doe, a spike by himself , and a really nice buck in a small tree patch. Did not have my eyes with me to get a good look, but for sure a shooter. Good luck this weekend. November 6, 2007 at 4:55 pm #622838Officially it went 9.7 lbs. Did not get a length. He said it went past his board. Oh really!?
November 5, 2007 at 6:57 pm #622576Did not hear on the length, just that it was fat. Watch out for the rifle hunters if you go up, I’m sure opening weekend will be crazy.
October 1, 2007 at 1:52 am #612219All I know, is that it ain’t going to be pretty for the scarlet and cream!
October 1, 2007 at 1:49 am #612217Flatwalter- Did it change for the good or the bad in your opinion?
September 15, 2007 at 10:53 am #608323I was there about 10 days ago(working) . I would only presume it is sooooo low so that they can get the last of the shoreline work done. I hopefully will be there 18-19 setting and pouring walls to the bunker. Sherm
September 14, 2007 at 10:47 pm #608283They have quit releasing water down the pipe. Buddy said he checked the Farwell Irrigation site. Sherm
