How deep were the walleye? I’ve had decent luck Recently in 1-6 feet of water with a 1/2 oz jighead and plastics. Were you targeting current seams mainly?

How does a 4 pound carp sucker have a 21 inch girth?

40+ pound carp is a monster! Get any pics of that beast? The Mississippi river (pool 2) is giving up some carp lately on corn or crawlers. I’d look for slower moving water or slack water on or near a mud flat.

Beckman no doubt about it. Fish don’t get wrapped up in the netting and the lures don’t get snagged up.

What didn’t you like about 832?

Glad he is behind bars. Had he been under control with that firearm he could’ve easily defused the situation by ordering them to lay on the ground with arms spread till the cops showed up.

Lipless rattle crankbaits, blade baits or anything that makes some noise/vibration should work good. Good luck!

I’m seeing some walleye in the southern part (south of lions levee) of pool 2 already.

Sounds like a lot of stress on the spawning females…

I was wondering the same thing. Any public spots close to the dam?

Have my best luck in high water on outside bends casting plastics. Usually pretty shallow.

Scratch that idea. I think it closes the 14th for walleye. Pool 2 if your into releasing big females. Pool 4 if you wanna keep some.

Is the rainy river closed to walleye around then? I’d suggest the rainy river. Its closer to you and there are some big walleyes in there. That is if its still open to walleye fishing during that time.

Caught 3 walleye today shore fishing and my buddy caught 4. All on moxi with bright colors working best with a slow retrieve.

I have 6 total. Sucks being poor. I can still catch fish with my Walmart rods though.

Wisconsin had a good year. They were expected to do good. The gophers weren’t expected to do much at all. Both teams exceeded expectations IMO. Just glad the badgers didn’t win cause people in WISC already have big enough heads with the packrats.

I can only find one live feed camera that’s on and its blurry, can’t see a darn thing. Anyone know when the other cams will be up and running?

Always wondered why bass fisherman need 50+ pound braid? Is it so they can water ski after being hooked? I never had a problem with bass breaking 10 pound braid. My favorite braid is power pro and 832 if that’s considered a braid. Nanofil is junk.

I wonder if that’s the same 29.25 walleye that was caught a month ago by a fellow named jay?
