This was the biggest fish of our Everts Resort trip this year.

29.25 inches. Great fish Steve Ponio.

Our group also had two 28 inch fish, and a few others in the 25 to 27 inch range. Not great numbers but great times with great friends. Looking forward to next year.

This fish was not weighed but lenght/girth brings it in at over 11 pounds.

Maybe John or Steve will jump in here and share some of the details.

Thanks for sharing and see you again next year John Schultz! — at Everts Resort.

I would agree with Randy, Based on the length provided it is minimum 12lbs and very easily could be over 13lbs!

    Heck of a fish!!

I had the pleasure of fishing with Steve that day and netting that fish. It was a good thing there weren’t any kids around when we realized it was a monster eye. Lotta “holy fricken poops” being tossed around. It’s nice to be there when your fishing buddy of 20 years hits a tanker. Congrats Steve and only 51 weeks till we get to do it all over again.

I wonder if that’s the same 29.25 walleye that was caught a month ago by a fellow named jay?
