Just reviving this old thread. How do these other pellet grills standup to rusting out. I have a Traeger that we have had approximately 5 years. It is completely rusted out with holes through it and now the brackets that hold the drip tray is falling off. Frankly I am very disappointed with the longevity. We probably use it 3 to 4 times a week throughout the year. Also very disappointed in the winter cook. So my question is what can be done to prevent this? Its sits outside under the covered porch with a cover on. So I am in the market for a new.

    Thanks,

Guess I am fortunate that my 19 6.2 in my AT4 does not have AFM. Absolutely love this truck.

Probably wants the check for tax purposes. So he can deduct. I am in the same situation.

Mine dropped again this year. Value increased. I am happy with that plus no matter what it is over half in MN compared to what it would be in WI.

Yeah there were a few running tin. Cliff Poche also ran tin. GatorTrax which I always associate with mud motors. It was quite the impressive rig. He actually won the MLF event last week before heading to the classic.

Lund Bass are only aluminum. They would be at the top of my list for my next boat for multispecies. But like any new boat really can’t justify 100K to replace my 2025 Impact.

All I can say is wow. If you have never attended a Classic put it on you bucket list. Especially if you are a bass guy which I am not specifically. The whole environment was overwhelming. The take offs gave you chills up your spine. The weigh ins did not disappoint. Just the amount of pure coordinating to pull off such an event is amazing. We were fortunate to have great viewing opportunities every day due to getting there early enough to get into key locations. You could tell Gussy was pretty nervous on the last day while I talked to him in the coffee line before take off. But who wouldn’t be. I didn’t think he was going to pull if off. He was one of the reasons I went to the Classic in Knoxville. It was great to see a up north guy win and he did it in a Lund which all the better.
Now Matt Robertson that dude is one heck of a character….

My AT4 that I bought was from Canada also. It had like 12000 miles on it when I bought it. Got a heck of a deal. How else do I know it was from Canada? I can’t turn the fricken running lights off when backing in a boat in the dark, so I blind people all the time. Sorry thats another topic….

No issues with the truck so far.

NO, you earliest season you can get is C. I own land in WI. and when I moved to MN I couldn’t figure out why I kept getting drawn for C when I used to always get A because of landowner preference. Then I found somewhere how the drawing preference is done. Not sure where I found that info though I cant remember. I sucks because even though I own land it doesnt matter.

I hunt 118 and 605. Both zones have far different different habitat…. Zone 118 has been on a significant downward trend for deer sightings and harvest the last 5 years. There has never really been alot of deer but we are now seeing more wolves or wolves sign than deer. This year was the worst year for us and many camps in the zone. Many of us hunt dusk to dawn and don’t see a deer over the week we are up there. Sometimes this is a normal occurrence for hunting but not for every person at multiple camps….

Zone 605 has been decimated with the CWD management. When I first moved here it was either sex with bucks having antler restrictions (had many nice bucks on cameras), then 2 deer, then about 3 years ago all restrictions were removed and you could kill as many as you wanted. The neighbors were having contests. Every small buck was shot. Now we are a 5 deer zone with no restrictions. The deer heard in the area is not even close to the same for numbers or caliber. Our closest cwd positive deer is well over 20 miles from us. Just a shame what happens in these cwd zones.

You are absolutely correct. My farm is in 646 and the last 3 years it has declined tremendously. That area used to be a sought after destination to hunt.

This is the reason why I don’t have automatic pumps. They are wonderful, but when they stick, batteries go dead. Good luck.

How else do you know you left the drain plug out by accident…..

So last winter we were headed to Nashville for a quick weekend trip. So we get to MNSP plenty early flight I think was supposed take off at 1:20 I think. All good boarded the plane. Snow just started to fall. We are sitting there and there is one passenger who didn’t have a seat. Flight wasn’t overbooked but someone on the plane wasn’t supposed to on it. So it took them 2 hours to figure out who this person was. So it just keeps getting better. Now we deice. So we are 3 hours in sitting on the tarmac. Waiting and waiting not moving. Snow is starting to pile up. Now some electronics issue they are looking into. Finally we are cleared to take the runway. We now have to deice again. We are at about 5 hours now. So we had out to the runway, Captain comes on the line and sorry folks we are unable to take we do not have enough fuel. WTF. We have to go back to the terminal. As we are heading back to the terminal we get stuck on the snow and cannot move. I am not making this up. They now need a dolly to come get us and pull us in. As we were waiting I told my wife I am booking a hotel before this flight gets cancelled and the snow was bad. Sure enough I just finished booking the hotel and the Captain comes on and says all flights cancelled. Awesome. So after sitting on a plane with pissed off Steelers fans after the Thursday night loss for 7 hours we were allowed to deplane. So we got another flight booked early the next morning. One last little tid bit it is now about 1100 PM and not food anywhere. We waited over and 1 1/2 for our driver from the hotel. I guess he crashed his van and got stuck in the snow so he had to wait for someone to pull him out.

Needless to say it was not all the airlines fault but really 7 hours on a plane and not taking off. WTF. Told my wife and I am not travelling with her again anytime soon.

I just finished replacing my wood decking with composite. The structure underneath was in good condition. I am far from a carpenter but all in all it turned out pretty good. Now the question is what to do for railing? I’ve been reading about going with composite but the problem is I do not have 4*4 posts to install the sleeves on. Just wondering what the best option is? Can you just order the correct length and angles for everything or do you need to cut it to length?

I believe it is still being argued on in the proposed bill. Past Senate but House voted down and the amendment removed. So now their is some breakout committee going on I think.

    That is my understanding.

Maybe they will fix it now so you don’t wreck your trailer when using it.

Southern Winona county here. I have seen very few if any birds. The last couple of years I havent had any at my house or seen any in the fields around. The farmer next door spreads manure and that used to always draw them out but not lately.

Being from the LaCrosse, WI area we have a KT on every block since it the home of KT. The stores are great and I am usually at one almost every day for something. But I do not buy my gas from them since I can go a 1/4 mile down the road and buy my Premium gas from Woodmans for 30 to 40 cents cheaper a gallon. Not sure how they do that. I haven’t noticed any issues running it.

2019 Ford F-250 gasser. The biggest dog of a tow vehicle I ever owned. Not to mention the death wobble that almost killed me a couple of times going down the interstate. Sold it last summer for more than I paid and got my AT4 with the 6.2. Now that is a towing beast.

Rapala DT’s. After a few eyes the bills fall off.

So what do you do when you have replace the batteries after a couple of years. I read they are only good for 8 years or 100000 miles. Cost for replacement is 15k to 20k. 100K would be 3 years for me. I will keep my gas truck.

Where do you charge these things if you are in the middle of nowhere on a hunting trip. Hell its hard enough to find gas in some of those areas of the Dakota’s and Montana. Can you charge them on a standard 110v outlet.

    Thanks,

The CDC says its rare and I heard one very outspoken doctor the other day unequivocally state you cannot get it twice, but you know a few people that have? Its contradictory information like this that drives me nuts.
    [/quote]

I have had it twice. Once last Nov. and again in Aug. The first time was hospitalized for a few days with PE. The second time not much of anything. Fully vaccinated this spring. Haven’t had the booster yet.
Also know many others who have had it twice and are vaccinated.

Many people dont opt for blinkers in their new vehicles. Heck, I past 3 vehicles this morning in the dark with no headlights on.

Heck I wish I could turn my headlights off on my GMC. You could not imagine how many times I get bitched at while backing my boat in in the dark. Stupidest thing ever.

    RVRDUX

turn truck off. Click e brake down 1 click and turn light off.

I did that one one of my older trucks that had a actual e brake. My 2019 AT4 has a push button brake on the dash.

As I stated before turning know to left only turns off when in park. Once vehicle gets put in gear light turn back on. Cannot be turned off while in gear.

Turn the headlight knob to the left turns off the automatic lights.

That only works in park. As soon as you put the vehicle in gear they come back on. It is a law in Canada so any vehicle that is built in Canada has this. No way to disable. By stupidest thing ever I mean I think it is stupid that you cannot disable this. Not the getting yelled at part because I agree with them.
