I bought that polar cart years ago. I used it for picking field rocks behind my four-wheeler. They are tough, I put it through a lot before I got my sxs!
We still use it, can fill it full of dirt or rocks, no problems.
I was not disappointed.March 16, 2024 at 4:23 pm #2261327That’s awesome Glenn!
I got some more ginger beer for the Jameson.
March 13, 2024 at 9:45 pm #2260567Try turning off the a/c (and defrost) and putting on vent 5 minutes before you shut off the vehicle. This will dry out the evaporator, reducing the amount of moisture in it.
Did I mention defrost is running the a/c?February 23, 2024 at 9:02 pm #2256025Update:I finished Undaunted Courage a couple of weeks ago. I really want to read the details from the journey now. Too bad lewis didn’t get his books written.
My list is growing also!
February 18, 2024 at 1:35 pm #2254859We have three rangers on our farm. They take alot of abuse and as long as you keep oils in them and grease it once in a while they stand up. But we don’t beat up our equipment.
Mine is 9 years old with 8300 miles on it. As far as miles, my brother drives his sxs more than his pickup. About 6k a year! He services a ton of atv’s and sxs’s. Keeps buying rangers.
Check the tire wear, shows if suspension is worn or bent. They start having wiring harness issues from all the ratting around on trail miles. Road miles, not so much. Cabs and heat make hunting and fishing outings so much better!February 17, 2024 at 1:08 pm #2254707We are heading to the U.P. this summer. Christams and Mackinac island there about. Some kayaking on the lake too.
Hopefully we try to get some fishing in.

When I was president of the fire relief, we gave away 60% to community organizations, 15% for accountant pay, and the rest to uncle sam.January 31, 2024 at 7:24 pm #2251291I grilled the second day in a row.

January 21, 2024 at 1:01 pm #2249229Ive always wondered. why do truckers wear them again?
Law says hands free. It was for CDL’s a few years first. Commercial vehicle drivers and their carriers both get fines up to $25,000 for holding a phone.
Imagine if it was that high for everyone?January 14, 2024 at 9:53 am #2247428Quick check on Amazon and found many fairly inexpensive timers. That said, it would take some knowledge to wire them in.
January 11, 2024 at 5:10 pm #2246990Pretty sure I just saw a report that Pelican had open water in the middle like two days ago.
There was last Friday for sure!

I don’t use bookface, so this is it for me. I would be down with giving a donation to “keep the ship afloat”.January 3, 2024 at 9:06 pm #2245338FWIW: My otter cabin is a tight fit in my silverado(with a tonneau cover). It shows it’s at 69.3″

They deserve the boos.December 28, 2023 at 9:00 pm #2244357My Son has a Traditions buckstalker that works well even with only open sights. I can take out breech plug with my fingers. I think it was the cheapest one in the store, he picked, I bought.
I do like the newer cva’s for not having a safety by the trigger.December 28, 2023 at 12:49 pm #2244249It really depends on what species they are catering for…
We have many wildlife areas here west of Alexandria that they cut down all trees and piled them high. Just left the piles??
One closer to me, they even made little spots to hold water in the spring. All the while there is nothing but crappy non-native grass that is less than a foot high that holds no birds?December 27, 2023 at 12:33 pm #2244079If going through an outfitter, expect to pay. That said, you can at least not have to wait for a draw but many fill up a head of time.
Visiting with a guide two weeks ago he was booked on bulls for 24 already.
Maybe make many calls and get on several waiting lists.
Canada is different, may be able to get otc but some places have to use a guide.December 17, 2023 at 11:24 pm #2242450Wow. I thought it looked stupid before, now I see that x post and all I can say is really? No one caught that?
