If there was anything tragic linked to Snowden, they would have it plastered all over the media, so far I have not herd of anything. Where does the federal government or NSA suppose to draw the line on invasion of privacy.

So do people think Edward Snowden is an idiot. He is all ready GUILTY if he sets foot on american soil. The trial would be a joke. I know Kerry would like to get his hands on him, so he should come back an face the music (ya right). looks to me like NSA under estiamated this guy & Russia is not going to deport him. What does that tell ya.

Plum-Island some say it was opened under “Project Paperclip”. This was a top-secret government program to recruit Nazi scientists who were working on animal diseases during WWII. It has been suspected that more than 2000 scientists were brought here and offered employment contracts and US citizenship. One of the areas of expertise they had was experiments with disease-infected ticks.

It is suspected that Dr. Erich Traub, a physician once in charge of the Third Reich’s virological and bacteriological warfare program in World War II, was involved with biological warfare research at Plum Island.

From the Belarus Secret it states; …”Even more disturbing are the records of the Nazi germ warfare scientists who came to America. They experimented with poison ticks dropped from planes to spread rare diseases. I have received some information suggesting that the U.S. tested some of these poison ticks on the Plum Island artillery range off the coast of Connecticut during the early 1950s…”

Plum Island is coincidentally within miles of the place where Lyme disease “originated”, the epicenter of Lyme, Connecticut.

Wow, you are 100% wrong. I have had lymes for the past 7 years, did’nt test positive untill 5 years after having lymes. brain fog, arthrits, fatigue, neck pain, anxiety just a few of the symptoms that go with cronic lymes. Plum island off the coast of LYME Connecticut is a big secreat & where the government was doing some expermenting on ticks as the story goes.

You need new blades, I have had a auger like that for years an still use mine. If it hopes all over when starting a new hole your blades are dull. When I put new blades on mine you don’t have to push down at all, if you push down you will dull then blades ,just turn and the auger will cut the ice. An try to hold the auger as straight as possible when turning. I have cut hundreds of holes with that same auger over the years with no issues except changing blades.

Very sad, Dave Riley was a great guy and will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him, he will be missed very much at Windmills. This is going to be a hard summer at the marina for everyone. Please be respectfull of the Riley family, as the investigation is on going. prayers sent.

You believe as you wish and I will continue to be right. They were not bearing gifts and a side dish to share. They were in his HOME and their family should have to pay the clean up costs.

why should their families have to pay? They didn’t make those kids do that. Shooting and doing what he did are two completely different things. That guy is a nut job.

sounds like he may have jumped the gun, so to speak. I agree with protecting your self and family. Someone comes into my house unannounced, they will be stareing down the barrel of a gun,but when do you decide to pull the trigger, do you give them warning, hard to say when you have to make a quick decision. wounding and then finishing them off, not calling till the next day.If neither of the kids were armed, I think this guy is going away for awhile, also he has to live with taking 2 lives that may not be justified. just my thoughts

Ya, whatever. I would love to fish that lake. My kid has a couple times, my neighbor has passed, but he was blood relation. Should of seen the bluegills he used to bring home and he talked of 30lb northerns, I never saw any but the gills were nice. I have seen a few bass pics ,almost worth getting arrested. If you get a flat tire call AAA don’t get out of your vehicle

If you are so sure about what you speak of, go to a afton concil meeting. They will tar and feather you, I have known about this lake since 1970. all the landowners have a agreement only family gets in the gate. I am friends with one of the landowners father, drive by and stop on the road by the lake sometime.

Hi Len, good your are looking after your mother. Elderly get taken addvantage of way to many times. On another note, do you know of any plastics that work well for stream trout, going to montana again with my son. All the regs are different on streches of the same stream ect. would be nice to just not have to worry about live bait regs. thanks
