I have a Ice castle and never leave it on the ice for any period of time without staying in it. There are low lifes all around that just cannot appreciate the hard work and investment that goes into having one of these houses! All i can say is they better hope i never catch them in the act.

we purchased a LX7 just after the new year and since then we have experienced a number of issues with it. The depth chart in the middle of the flasher screen switches off and on to 44 ft no matter what depth we are fishing at. The unit loses power and shuts down. The screen flashes on and off. It powers down for no reason with full charge! I am calling Marcum tomorrow and see what we are to do to get another unit. I have always had vexilar units and I hate to say it but I wish we would have went with a FL-22!

Thanks James! We purcheased a LX-7 a couple weeks ago and figured I would ask the question. If I hadn’t already purchased this unit I would be buying yours for sure. Great deal on the one you have!

No rebate for the purchase of a LX-7? Seems like the $700.00 unit should have one also????

Guy’s are fishing Twin, Pike, Black Brook. I heard Big Round is still open and I have not been up to Balsam but they are fishing it in certain areas. Pike and Twin have had guy’s on them since late last week. Black Brook has had guys on it for a couple weeks now. Wappo and Bear Trap still had open water as of late last week??? I’d say get the flags in! Keep in mind walking only and always check as you go!

I was up in Hayward over the weekend and conditions are worse up there than they are in the Amery area. We were able to get out but anywhere from 2.5″-5″ in the bays with most all larger lakes still not locked up!

I got my Terrova in April 2011 (36V). I noticed it started to over steer when using the remote. This went of for a while and last weekend i lost the turning completely both on the remote and the foot control. Speed still works just no turning. I contacted Minn Kota they told me to take it to a Minn Kota sevice center and they would determine what the problem is and fix it.

I can’t make week 8 not that we were in the running but still had a great time every week we were able to fish. Keep us posted on the FALL League! I’d be in! Thanks again Jesse and Tony, GREAT JOB!!!!

We will be there tonignt for week 5! I was out on Sunday and again last night with not a lot of success! Sunday I was able to get 3 fish 18″-22″. Last night was a zippo! UGG! Maybe 25mph North winds will change things? Great job Jesse, the league is a blast.

Docks at lakefront were still in as of Monday evening. Water level should be starting to drop AGAIN.

I purchased a $30.00 model from Fleet Farm a few years ago. Since then I have purchased another one (same model). It came with 7 stack trays. I make jerkey with ours and a lot of it. They are 2 and 3 years old and still work great. I can check to see what the brand name is tonight when I get home. This particular brand sell 2-3 different models at Fleet Farm. The ones I got were cheap and work great. 7 hours for 13 lbs of jerkey x2= 26 lbs every 7 hours and we normally dehydrate around 80-100 lbs a year.
