The way I calculate the current leader board after dropping two lowest scoring weeks,it is very possible for 8th place to move into 2nd. And 1st place is anything but locked up. Much closer than I anticipated that it would be.

    1st – 251.5 (week 8 the first 29.5 inches will not count)
    2nd – 207.5 – anything measured adds
    3rd – 201.75 – anything measured adds
    4th – 199.5 – anything measured adds
    5th – 198.7 – anything measured adds
    6th – 198.5 – (week 8 first 13.25 inches will not count)
    7th – 192 – Anything adds
    8th – 171 – Anything adds

Remember Wes it’s the 6 best weeks, not everyone has to throw out 2 weeks.

Rite now if 1st throws out their 2 worst weeks that puts them at 220″ even. Only a 13″ lead. Anyone in the top 7 spots can take this with a good night next Tuesday. It’s going to be interesting next week

Thats a different way to look at it I guess. The 251 that I calculated shows 251 for 1st as you two need to have week 8 bag over 29.5 inches to count towards one of your best 6 weeks. If you get 30 inches week 8, then the 30 inches becomes one of your best 6 weeks and you would then drop 29.5 inches as it would no longer be one of the top 6. So your total of 251.5 would only go up to 252 inches with a 30 inch week 8. Your still guaranteed 251.5 inches even if you zero week 8….Unless I am totally missing something.

Most everyone else has already missed or zeroed two weeks, so if they measure anything on week 8 it will count towards one of their best 6 weeks.

I think Wes is right, you have 251.5 top 6 right now and can’t get less. So it looks like its a close 7 team race for 2nd and 3rd place.
Jesse, what does the league have for 2nd and 3rd??

Three 20″ fish can put the top 7 teams rite up there.
