The app should pickup any Bluetooth device in the area. are you seeing any bluetooth devices showing up on the screen? If not it may be the app, or you have a pre Bluetooth battery. It should show Bluetooth on the side of the battery.

Android phone, correct app, Location & Bluetooth on. It should be simple but somethings not right. I’ve even tried a diff Android phone. Great customer service from amped. Just contacted them yesterday and already willing to ship out a new battery today

Just speculation, but this sounds like maybe the agent has a deal setup with a specific towing company that he gets a kickback for every tow he sends to them. I think in MN you can use anyone you want, the insurance may cap the amount they will pay, but you can hire anyone you want to tow, or repair your car.

But the insurance company has an exclusive contract with the towing company. So 140 miles and about $360 later the car was moved less than 2 miles. Driver said a 2-mile tow is $60. Lucky the guy wasn’t sitting on the interstate waiting!!

It sounds like you are pulling something into the pump stopping it from being able to turn, blowing the fuse or breaker. Pull the pump out and see what it pulled into the line. Then blow water backwards through the line.

a 36v 60Ah battery is the same size as a 12volt lead acid 31 series battery

That is pretty slick a 24 volt sits in the same size as a 12?! Whoa game changer! I might have to upgrade.

I get political texts every once in a while asking to take a pole by clicking a link. I respond with F+*# off and it says you have been removed. I doubt that does much. I also block the number, but I am sure they just change the number address.

Either is fine to finish. I would use a water base poly. If it were to be used for food prep just oil applied weekly is what we would tell customers.

I have never installed a transducer on a pontoon, but I would think at the bottom back of one of the pontoons, so the bottom of the transducer is set just below the bottom of the pontoon. There is normally a bracket welded on the rear of the pontoons to attach a transducer

My RS net is 5 years old, great net but I agree heavy. You can however net a 40lb catfish or sturgeon and not have to worry the handle or yoke is going to bend or break off, unlike some other cheap crap out there.

Those RS Nets are nice but very heavy unless they changed them from a few years ago.

I have written this a few times in the last year. I deal with home insurance claims every day and insurance companies are not equal. You better have a good agent you can trust if you are price shopping. People that have complained about the cost, will have their coverages changed without reading the fine print as to what was dropped or altered for the premium reduced cost. Insurance don’t drop the rate just because you complained. What I see often are ACV only policies, no color matching policies, no reasonable uniform appearance policies, deductible changing from a set amount such as $1000 or $1500 to a 1%, 2% or even higher of the value of you house. I think this approach works mainly because most people are morons, and can’t calculate that their $500k house with a 2% deductible is now $10k. I have also seen where insurance may cap the amount they will pay if you have damage to bring your house up to current code after it has been damaged. A big one that most companies do not cover is water damage for framing or rot. As an example you have a stucco house, and the windows have been leaking for years, and now your framing is rotten. I have only seen one policy (Badger Mutual) which covered up to $10k, most insurance policies cover nothing. Talk about your policy with your agent to make sure you know what is and is not covered just in case you need to file a claim.

If it is a Mercury I would bring it to Rapid Marine in Ham Lake and ask for Chad to look at it. He is an outstanding marine mechanic.

You just need to watch the seal on the back to make sure it doesn’t start to leak. If it starts leaking make sure to replace the seal right away. When they start to leak unlike grease they leak out faster. After each trip lay on the ground and look at the back to check for signs of oil. If dry good to go until the next trip.

People that smoke weed are true of two things. 1. they assume the vast majority of people also smoke weed. 2. Weed cures anything and everything. Example: I just cut off my thumb. I have a fix for that, come over here and take a giant hit off my bong, and rub some dirt on it. grin

I waited on hold this time. It said wait time was between 10-12 minutes. I did talk to someone after 50 minutes. I need to send a video of the trolling motor not functioning properly, and they will decide where to go from there. Hopefully all works out well. I have several garmin products and this is the first I have had an issue with that couldn’t be resolved over the phone.

I was in the party tent business for 30 years and had an account with Eureka tents. I bought Eureka camping tents for some friends over the years and one for myself, and I can say they are very well made.

I ran into an issue when I swapped out an older unit (a 998SI) with a gen3 Helix. I don’t remember if the older or new unit had an in-line filter on it, but one did and the other did not. Other than the filter the power cords were the same. When we powered the new helix up it would come on what looked to be normally, and then after that the unit would lock up. I switched to the unit that came with the Helix and all was good. My point is as long as both cords looks the same you are probably good to go.

You must have kids in Competitive Dance and are speaking from experience. My daughter was in Competitive Dance for several years. I never asked how much my wife was spending a year on it mainly because I didn’t want to know but it was thousands a year with the travel, costumes, and lesson costs. I am so glad to be done with all that. Traveling baseball was cheap compared to dance. For people complaining it is only for rich kids. All HS athletes benefit from rich parents, paying for better equipment, and year round camps. This is nothing new, and I wouldn’t expect anything different from bass leagues either.

For the kids I know involved in HS fishing, Their parents or other family member is providing most of if not all the equipment being used. I know of no one that a parent who went out and purchased any of the things you listed for the kid to use. You must not know anyone who has kids involved in Hockey or girls dance if you think HS fishing is expensive.

This year they have not played well due to both injuries and salary cap issues. The past few years the regular season they play very well near the top of the league and get bounced in the first round of the playoffs. I didn’t have much faith in the team this year going in, but I did think they would have been a little better than they have been and make the playoffs and get bounced again. I was really hoping they would have tanked and gotten a top 7 draft pick, but alas we will pick middle of the road yet again.

The wild are your typical Minnesota team. Start the season with High hopes, do just well enough to keep fans interested, and either miss the playoffs or limp into the playoff and lose right away in the 1st round. I know this team has had lots of injuries, but so have other teams.

FYI:Below is a chat from a week and a half ago with Amped outdoors I had pertaining to charging in cold temps.

I have a couple of 36v 60AH batteries from last year. I am headed to Green Bay today. it looks to be below freezing at night. chances are I can go 4 days without having to charge the batteries, but if on Monday night when I get done fishing. I would think it will be in the high 30’s. if I start to charge them above freezing do I need to watch the Temps as it charges and if it drops to 32f unplug the battery charger then?

If using our onboard charger, the batteries will charge as low as 17 degrees. You don’t want to make a habit of it, but in a pinch if you need to charge that low you can. If you don’t want to drop below 32 degrees and the batteries get an adequate charge you certainly can stop the charger early. Thanks.

I assume the amped do not have the cold weather cut off built in ?

She won’t respond if you do not live in her district. Nice

Thank you so much for reaching out to me. If you need immediate assistance please reach out to my Legislative Assistant, Tenzin Tsangyang, at [email protected] or 651-297-5003. Your thoughts and questions are very important to me and I personally read every email I receive. Due to the large volume of emails I receive, I am only able to respond to residents in district 60A which is composed of Northeast Minneapolis and Southeast Como. It is taking me much longer than usual to respond to constituents. If you are a resident of my district and your original message does not include your mailing address, please reply with that.

I deal with insurance companies every day. I will say this. Insurance companies are not all the same. When you price shop be very mindful to look at the fine print and see what they cover or do not cover. Thinking you have a good deal may very well not be anything of the sort. I can’t tell you how many people have no idea what coverage they have and are shocked when I get to tell them they will have to pay out of pocket for things because they saved money on their premiums. A few things that I have seen that can add up to a lot of money. ACV only policies, 2% of house value deductibles. High deductible, I have seen a $25,000 deductible for a $500,000 house. There are so many things, these are just two common things that are used to drop cost. I only am writing this because until you need it you may not know what is covered and whether or not if even if covered if your insurance will in fact pay. I see some horrible companies that flat out refuse to pay for damage that should be covered but are denied.

I think many times parents have the pipe dream their kid will make it to the pro’s or at the very least get a scholarship to a D1 school. The odds of either happening slim and none. If they don’t make the pro’s, I guess it is never too late to learn to fish and hunt. Your kids can teach them.

My son loves to play baseball, but he asked not to play year round because he loves hunting and fishing more then being married to a sport.
He would rather travel and fish over travel and play ball. Neither him nor I care if he stands out on the field. My sisters kids play hockey year round and if they are not actively playing they are at a camp. Both those boys say they are always jealous of my sons fishing and hunting trips because all they know and do is hockey. When school is all done, then what ?

Please keep us updated how those perform and last. It will be interesting to hear how batteries for 35% the cost of the mainstream lithiums compare to each other.

Just changed my LA`s to LiPO4 batteries at the current prices hard not to go to them paid $209 each for 100ah.
