    Archoil Ar6200

You can use it in gas or diesel engines. I use it in every tank, my truck, weed eaters, boats, quads, chain saws all without a fuel related issue…

Take it to Marcum and let them fix it. Sure you could change parts and maybe spend a small fortune trying to save a few bucks not to mention the time you lose testing it…

I have a Yamaha warrior that I fished with for years. The worst I ever got into was 10 or 12 inches of slush and I had to walk along side it when driving. The chains worked like paddles moving it.

Dave Koonce had and may still have a Honda three wheeler, heck a few years ago he put skis on the front of it. Any way he got along just fine with it.

Two wheel drive works fine with chains but like some said know your limits.

I have the medium on my 800 twin, there is plenty of room for my wife and I. Grand children ride real secure in my opinion is is the safest way for them to ride with…

A few years ago I broadcast seed and used a drag harrow to work the seed into the soil. I have a pretty large yard so the harrow was my best option if your yard is smaller a verticut machine is a better way to do it. Down here in Kansas City we have a retailer that specializes in grass, they recommended a particular fescue blend for our area of the country and their house brand starter fertilizer. Everything worked great although it was all done in the fall, I would think that the spring would do almost as well.

I use a handheld H2Oc when walking out and a 5″ Lowrance in the truck or ATV.

I thought the H2Oc was discontinued because it had too many problems.

Double steel-firebrick lined, okay, not lined, not so okay. Over firing will burn it out. Cast iron by far the better choice.jerr

Cast iron is the only way to go.

I think both Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s have free rod building classes.

Orange tiger or a fire tiger #10 diamond jig with either red or white finesse tail. I have mainly been catching them in 30 to 35 fow about 20 to 26 down above the brush. With 4 pound line these jigs go down fast…

I made one similar to the one Bobbo made in this thread about boxes. But if you want to buy something already made Rose Creek makes a nicer one but it is a little small. Small is good when ice fishing.

Couple of questions James? When was this filmed and what/when is normal ice season for them? This far south it’s tough for the Minnesotans to judge when you could venture out on the ice down there.

Understanding when the ice season is like guessing when first ice will occur on a particular body of water. You just have to venture out and check the thickness. Like Cal said he has been trying to plan a trip down here for a few years. Here is the link to Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks information about Glen Elder. I have heard for a long time how good the fishing is there but have never made the trip. Even though I live in Kansas it is still about 280 miles from where I live. Hopefully I will be able to make a trip in the next couple weeks and if not I will definitely make it for the spring run. Can you imagine what those whites will look like when their hormones kick in?

Getting back to ice conditions we don’t usually have more than two weeks of ice fishing in a year and some years we don’t get any ice fishing at all. This year we have been fortunate to have almost six week so far this year. A few weeks ago we had almost 10″ of ice and it almost all melted when that terrible polar vortex came through like a freight train. The winds created huge waves on the main lake that broke up what ice we had left and blew huge chunks on top of the larger pieces. Actually my friend Greg and I were out fishing that day the front came through we went home an hour before it. But there was a portion of the lake we frequent that still had ice and have been fishing it by ourselves since then until today a couple guys saw me with my grandson. Oh well it is public water…

Otter rod box, I have a couple of them. One that mounts to my Monster box and a plain one. I can easily carry four rods a couple extra spools and a couple RC jig boxes. It doesn’t matter how much they cost once I figure how much the contents cost. And for convenience they are second to none.

    My charger is 750 mA.

The guy at BP showed me a tender that looked exactly like that on but it was priced closer to the MSRP. Go figure…

I like diamond jigs too, the last few weeks I have used them every trip on the ice. They are small enough that even the dinks do not shy away and heavy enough to get down there quick. Tonight I was fishing in 35 fow usually 10 to 20 feed down but sometimes I needed to reach the bottom…

We only have about 7-8 inches unless hell is freezing over I don’t think I have much to worry about.

But I wish it would harden up enough to take my atv out on it.

Sure have- deep fried… Just like my signature says- ribeye of the sky!!! Ok, let me clarify a little- I’ve tried it once, I had a little too much to drink prior to that endeavor, I do remember it wasn’t all that bad though!! Get me drunk, I might try it again!!

Sounds like a good time to me!

PS Possum … doesn’t taste good with lime butter. So I’ve been told.

Armadillo tastes good with anything including dirty diapers.

Several years ago I refinished a table and my weapon of choice was a paint scraper. The table had lacquer and years of wax coating it. Similar to this one… It may be a little small but you will be supprised how fast it will make the floor sandable. Sandable is that a word?

I have heard people talk good about Guidewear but I wouldn’t trade my Snowsuit for anything. Like I have said several times, the only regret I have since I purchased my first Snosuit is that I waited so long to get it…

I have a 450 also but I purchased my Upper Midwest maps on CD and are on my laptop with the waypoints. This way I am able to view possible areas to fish, save my waypoints to the GPS and my laptop. Although you can still save your waypoints to your PC or laptop with just the map that comes with Mapsource or Basecamp. One thing you might try is to see if you may have changed profiles to one that does not have the waypoints you use for fishing. Good luck…

I just drilled four 1/4″ holes (one in each corner) of the box and used large fender washers to bolt it to the rack. Your flasher should be fine with the suspension, you could add some padding like a old shirt to set it on. Be sure to mount the box far enough back that you have room to remove your seat. The U-bolts are for tube racks and are not long enough to use with the Polaris rack.

That my friend is why Sears is in financial trouble. I don’t get much opportunity to shop with TB but the times I have the service is top notch.

I almost forgot I cannot remember reading about anyone having any major problems and a lot of people have 5000-6000 miles on their sportsman. Good luck
