Used it for the first time yesterday hauling wood. Glad I got the bigger one. yay Also if it fits in the sled (6 ft long), it’ll fit in my truck box (6′ 6″, not one of those short 5’8″ers). rotflol

So I went to Fleet Farm to look at the Polar HD 1200 and HD 1500. The price difference was $50 with the HD 1500 having 47% more cubic feet and 300 # more capacity but it is bigger. Then I heard a voice saying “IDO, IDO, get the bigger one!” I had to adhere to one of the main principles of IDO, so I did buy the HD 1500 and also got it for $20 less since they price-matched Blain’s Farm & Fleet’s price. woot
I may have to build a lean-to onto my shed to store it. rotflol
    Thanks for all the feedback.

I’m liking the Polar Cart. Turf tires and 13.5 inches wider. Would be more stable on hills and rough terrain.
Has a 2 year longer warranty, also.

With your luck I would suggest not looking down the blank at how the guides line up.

And nobody else in the courtroom noticed her sleeping.

Closing your eyes is a defining feature of sleep. For that reason, it may be surprising to learn that some people sleep with their eyes partially or fully open. This condition, known as nocturnal lagophthalmos, is relatively common. Research studies indicate that about 1 in 20 people do not shut their eyes while sleeping.

Did they actually change or add charges to allow for a more likely hood of a guilty verdict from the jury?

Said on the local tv news yesterday evening that the charges have been amended to allow for lower charges.

Minnesota lakes don’t really have the cover or dirty shallow water for flipping.

I beg to differ. Lots of things you can flip: milfoil, cabbage, lily pads…

In 1993 and ’94, I was an observer in the Don Shelby Bass Tournament on Lake Minnetonka. Usually the fisherman and observers would form 2 lines, walk up and pair off. One day in ’94 I was checking in kind of late. While at the table, a fisherman walked in and one of the organizers asked if he had been paired with an observer. He said, “No.” The organizer paired me up with the fisherman, Bryan Kerchal. A 23-year old who had just won the Bass Masters Championship about 6 weeks earlier. One of the techniques he used was moving slowly through the milfoil and flippin’ into openings. He used 30# Trilene Big Game. I don’t think braid had been invented yet. More impressive was his ability to skip docks with a bait caster. Tremendous accuracy. He still lived with his parents in Connecticut and he said he practiced flippin’/pitchin’ jigs into coffee mugs set up all over the basement. A nice young man with a great personality for the fishing industry. The tournament let him use a bass boat for the tourney. Guessing an 18 footer with the max outboard of 150 HP. He was jumping boat waves going from spot to spot. Very sadly, he died in a plane crash 3 months later.
Google his name, his story is amazing.

Called Garmin last week about updating software. I didn’t have to wait for a call back. No issues, very helpful.
Also called Humminbird and it was busy so I left my number for a call back. They called a little earlier than when they said and I didn’t pick up in time. Called about 10 minutes later. Very helpful also.

Any favorites that you guys recommend?

A doe with last year’s twins moved through my neighbor’s yard at the “darkest” time in Minnetonka. I didn’t notice any change in the amount of light.
Maybe the eclipse made the one yearling mount it’s mom!!
    NASA pic is amazing.
Space Station video showed the leading edge of totality moving in the NE USA. Looks like something from a science fiction movie. This is a pic of the video.

If I were you, I would just get a Livescope Ice Fishing Bundle then you can easily move it around your pontoon or even use of off your dock and also then use it for Ice fishing…

This is what I did and it works great. Can move it anywhere in the boat and then take it ice fishing. Get a 20 amp lithium battery minimum. A 30 amp should also fit in the shuttle.

14 more strikeouts yesterday. Saw Julien take another heater well in the strike zone. Baldelli says they need to make better contact. Really?

I think South Caroline will win comfortably. Iowa has no one that can handle SC’s big. If SC has someone that can shadow Clark like Uconn’s #10 she’ll be below her normal output again.

A few years after my wife passed away, I set up a revocable trust. Everything goes to my 2 kids. I can specify that certain things go to others if I want, like all my fishing stuff goes to … Also did the health care directive and power of attorney at the same time. Worked with an attorney who specializes in this area who works closely with my financial advisor’s company. If I remember correctly, ~$2200.

I made some jambalaya over the weekend for the first time. If I can recreate it (I did follow a recipe) it’s easily in my top 10 favorite dishes and may crack the top 5.

For the 2 games on Monday they kept talking the players up, more so than some of the men’s games. I thought it was kind of sickening. That’s ESPN’s fault, not the players.

I watched both games. The skill level has improve so much in the last 10-15 years. Reese should have fouled out earlier as there were one or two that the refs didn’t call.
Title IX was passed in 1972. My high school freshman year ’73-’74 was the first year my high school had a girl’s team. Most couldn’t run fast and dribble at the same time, let alone shoot a jump shot.
