Sorry about the duplicate post…cant figure out how to delete this one.
For this time of year especially I have everything set on video or pictures with the SHORTEST delay possible. I prefer the video because this is the time of year when bucks start nosing does around and chasing, and if the doe runs past first, triggers the camera, and then the buck walks through within 10-60 seconds (most standard delays), you miss the buck and think yo’re hunting on the doe mecca all the time. With the video it allows you to watch what happens for 10 full seconds after the trigger which can tell you where the deer are heading/moving and show hidden trails you may have never seen before. If using a straight picture mode get as many pictures as possible as said before. It never hurts to delete an extra 100 pics if there might be one extra pic that tells you valuable information about your hit lister.
Not good I am assuming…the “dry run” that runs through our hunting land in southwestern Pierce County was over 75 yards wide in most spots yesterday
I already have a hand auger so no worries and I can borrow a power auger if needed….it just sucks not having the one I had. Never had a single problem with it.

Top tip: Some brands of beer can be frozen without breaking the cans. It takes a little testing to get the combination of freezer temp right, but freezing beer, water bottles, etc is a great way to make ice last a long time where there is no option for more.
Grouse
Sure, if you want beer where the alcohol separates from the rest of the beer, or do you drink Coors?
Hey now, I drink Coors
I have found a few tiny tiny ones here in Pierce Co. That is all. I am hoping by the weekend the ground will be covered. Hoping.
The trimbelle strikes again gotta love the lower section of that river.
Everyone forgets the lowly trout this weekend I’ll be on the streams if they don’t look like chocolate milk.
I cannot WAIT for them to start popping here in Pierce County…time to make money!
Yeah we had over 14″ this morning just south of RF. Trees down all over the roads. Sweet.
I got out and looked yesterday afternoon…and found one very very small one poking up from under the leaves…its gonna be awhile yet.
They were for the most part last Wednesday…south of the power plant.
Storage Wars…by far. Or Amish Mafia. Ohhhhhh wait gold rush takes the cake. I have a buddy that met them at a mining conference-apparently the hoffman’s run the claim about 6 hours a day for the camera, then a crew of over 30 guys cleans house the rest of the time while they sleep
If this was a walleye from Pool 4 we were talking about…something brown would hit the fan and it wouldn’t be sudden impact from BK’s boat…
If it makes the angler happy, keep it.
In my honest opinion, look at a Chevrolet 1500 with the 5.3L Vortec. That engine is unstoppable and they are a dependable vehicle. As far as the year, try going either 2001-2004 or 2007 up. Everyone in my family drives the 5.3’s, always have and they have never had an issue with any of them. No they don’t have fancy “ecoboost” or “THE HEMI!!” but who needs that?
Like a rock (psh, ford and dodge… )
For winter-best I have found is a
Size 10 bro bug jighead tipped with a little atom blood red micro nuggie. Always does the trick.
Summer-best I have found is a
Cubby tackle mini-mite jig. Jig through brushpiles and hang on. pink head/white body.
Is the water deep enough to use a flasher or is it a shallow water game?
On the Pool 4 and 5 backwaters people look at me like I am crazy drilling over 100 holes before I’ll start seriously fishing. If I don’t mark a fish immediately, I’m on the move until I do, and 9 out of 10 times that fish is a crappie and coming topside (cough) red little atom micro nuggies….
Oh I’m sorry. Probably shouldn’t have brought up your teenage years good try though
