February 3, 2010 at 2:39 am #839120Yeah it sounds like it is time for a new Auger. I had my last Strikemaster for about 16 years before i bought a new one this last year. I bought the Strike lite and love it just need to by a 7 inch bit for it know and i will be good to go. Good Luck
