I usually don’t post other people’s fish pictures up but this is a good friend of mine who is one of the best anglers I know of. His name is John and he has taught me a lot about the English method of fishing. I don’t know of anyone who has more experience with fishing Mahseer in India. John has made over 15 trips to India for the Mahseer. I am making this post for all of you who have dreams of fishing for giant Mahseer some day. John is a wealth of information for anyone endeavoring a Mahseer trip to India so if anyone is interested in a once in a lifetime Mahseer trip, let me know. I find these fish simply awesome. The fish above is John’s personal best. It goes well over 100 lbs.
This fish happens to be a bonus species. I can’t remember its name but it has a blue head.
