We are staying at the Garrison Inn and Suites right on highway 169 by the blue goose over the 4th. Seems like a nice hotel and right across the street is Mille Lacs! Also even had some suites with private hot tubs! Of course needed when you need to soak after a hard day of fishing!

I have a couple of shot gun shell re-loaders with hulls, primers, wads, lead. Every thing you would want to get started if that interests you. My boys and I spent lots of time loading shells together as well as shooting clay pigeons! Send me a pm if interested and I will send you my number so you can call me if interested.

I was just at FF tonight and saw they had other colors made for FF only…Had one with pick poka dots on it; I think it was calle party something.

This was the one I saw tonight; it’s called circus star.

    Anybody try it??

Yep every time we pull it something happens and it gets all tangled. When that happens we hum the circus tune. So they are properly named for Tim’s boat! “Circus is in town”. Jessie can attest to this!

Other baits look great Trumar! #7’s or 9’s?

“When it comes to family-Sometimes it not all about fishing”

Well said Jeff. More families should figure out how to do this and not pawn their sick kids off at daycare or send them to school. I was fortunate enough to work at the school right next to our house and was able to pop in and check on them if one of us couldn’t stay all day as the kids got older. We were fortunate enough that their mom was a stay at home mom when they were little. But that is hard to do today for sure! Hope she is feeling better soon!

The track systems for side by sides and atv’s are built so they are geared down so you can run high range and still have plenty of power and ground speed. If needed you have the ability to go to low range for crawling or extreme situations. As far as the 900 goes it has TONS of torque. Also with the all new design with the 900 and all the things they did they are AWESOME! But really hard to find a used one as of now! You will not be disappointed with the 700.

Probably is correct but make sure they use a genuine GM fuel pump! The aftermarkets are junk!

    IMHO!

When we were in Redwing for Easter it looked to me like they were working on the ramp far to the east. The first ones by the marina were fine, we put the boat in there.

Great pictures! In mho that is a big part of what this outdoor stuff is all about. Good family times with a little education and lots of fun thrown in. Do it as often as you can, life is to short.

The boat is a 16′ 83″wide. He’s looking at buying with a 2 stroke 40horse tiller. Checking into price with 50 horse. boat is rated for 60 horse but 60 horse tiller hard to find and most or all are 4 stroke plus if dealer has to go out and get one the price is pretty well set. He thinks the 40 horse is big enough for fishing and family fun with 5&8 year old kids. He lives in Redwing and will fish the river and backwaters in the area plus lakes around Atkin. I can’t wait for us to get started!

We used it all the time when i was a kid. Peel them, cut in half length wise, thread the two pieces on a good sized hook. you can pull the first piece up the line a ways if needed. try it,you’re just going to throw it away. i freeze mine in between fishing trips,

I think your going to be real unhappy if you put your floor right on the ground. I got a 10 by 20 shed with 4×4 on 2′ centers and i drive a 2000 lb. garden tractor in all the time. even with your sand under the floor is going to be wet on the bottom all the time.
