An earlier post noted that the light was being attached 12″-18″ above a lure, which would make it an attractor which is illegal.

When regs are written so vague it would be nice if a drawing were included to illustrate the intent of the rule.

What is the definition of an artificial lure, regarding size? I’m seeing a hook needs to be within 3″ of this light.

    §Subp. 6. Angling tackle.
    A. An angler may have up to three single or multiple hooks on a line used as a single tackle configuration attached to the end of a fishing line. The total configuration from the first hook to the last hook must be nine inches or less. Live, artificial, preserved, or dead bait is allowed. This configuration is not considered an artificial bait or fly.
    B. An angler may have one additional single or multiple hook on a line as part of an artificial bait as long as it is within three inches of the artificial bait.

Was at the game last night with the family. I’m 61 and that was my first regular season game. The place was electric!!! Had a blast. Great time with fans, both Packer’s and Bear’s fans.

Isn’t the light “OFF” when you press the remote button?

    Except when closing of course

Could it be the site administrators would rather have us log in using one of the three social media outlets shown at the log in screen?

Like I posted, I’m not ruling out the venting issue but, a frosted shut vent usually causes slow draining issues.

The type of clog I am talking about is usually caused by tree roots grabbing paper causing a soft obstruction. Effluent will build up behind the clog, when a large amount of water is released the air in the pipes has nowhere to go but back upstream causing the gurgling in the toilet that you described. Now when enough head pressure builds up the soft obstruction will release and syphon the water from your toilet bowl. The pipe could be just partially obstructed which would allow your slower draining fixtures to drain normally, but when a large amount of water(toilet/bathtub) is released the air is forced back upstream.

I’m with Mike on this one. It certainly could be a frosted shut vent terminal, but what you are describing sounds a lot like a clog. If you had an obstruction in your building drain(under floor piping) or sewer lateral that suddenly let loose and drained it would almost certainly siphon your lowest fixture. Now this is assuming a soft obstruction that didn’t completely stop drainage as you didn’t mention sewage backing up out of your floor drain. If it was an obstruction, now to find out what caused it. A call to a drain cleaning service may be in order. A reputable contractor would camera your drain first to identify any issues such as: wet wipes, toilet paper, some type of foreign object, tree roots, rotten piping, etc..

I have never used one of these but have heard they work.

As long as it’s 3-4 inches of good ice and I have my spud, I go out. First ice or not, doesn’t matter.

EXACTLY! Its not rocket surgery to not fall through. I wear float
Suit, picks, keep dry clothes in truck and spud bar your way out so you can follow same path back. Just be prepared and use your brain. Best fishing of the season is first ice.

    Rocket SURGERY?????

Happens all the time while we’re shooting pool, kids will run up to the table and start grabbing balls and throwing them down the pockets. If the kids behave and stay seated with parents, I’ve got no problem. Problem is, parents let their kids treat the bar/restaurant like it’s a playground.

On smaller inland waters, I think the ML’s would work just fine. On bigger waters with bigger seas go with the M’s.

Some government officials just blow my mind. It’s ground water for GODS SAKE and ground water comes partly from rain. So who do the idiots write a correction notice to when it rains and the sidewalk gets wet, Mother Nature?

Does your sump pump run at all during the winter causing ice to accumulate, if not then I really don’t see what the issue is.

It’s been fun to watch since I happen to be watching when a guy got a hole in one! Apparently that doesn’t happen very often! Like my dad said, it’s nice to see the green grass and sun, and hear those birds chirping. I also enjoy listening to the commentators – they’re so calm and its kinda relaxing. I might try my hand at golf this summer and see how much harder it is than those pros make it look. smirk

The hole in one thing cracks me up.
A hole in one happens about 1 in 3,000 shots, but 100% of the time you hear the clowns screaming “GET IN THE HOLE”. ROFLMAO

Long shot but make sure it is on the drill setting(drill bit) and Mode 1. Mine did same when I had on a torque setting mistakenly.

Exactly what I was thinking, every once in a while that will happen to me at work. Drill seems like it’s losing power then I’ll notice I accidentally twisted the torque setting lower. Milwaukee drill don’t give off the tell tale clutch grinding noise, they just act like they are losing torque.

Anyone who has any baseline understanding of biology or immunology saw this coming from miles away. 2 years of isolation and social distancing has weakened many immune systems to the point that flus and colds will be much worse than they would have been for some. It’s sad really, but they’ll blame it on lack of covid vaccines and rinse + repeat for another year.

Anyone with a baseline skill to do a search on your theory will quickly see that you are wrong. Throughout history, certain years have been better or worse for all types of viruses.

Been plumbing for 30 years, my gut tells me it’s water hammer. Install quality shock arresters and make sure the pipes are fastened solidy to the wall, studs, joints…..vibration caused by fast closing solenoid valves is often problematic.

The MAC isn’t a power 5 conference, but it is probably the best mid-major and produces some of the best talent. Urban Meyer and Nick Saban both got their coaching starts there. Big Ben, Randy Moss, Antonio Brown, Khalil Mack all played there. And midweek Maction on ESPN is loved by every diehard football head like myself

Randy Moss play college ball at Marshall

If you mount the 23″ you for sure will catch a bigger one.

    FOR SURE!!!!!

A number of years ago I boated a 30″- 10# lake trout in an Ontario lake that we had never targeted lakers in before. Beautiful fish so I took a bunch of pictures and had replica made. Of course the next year up there we target Lakers and I caught a 38″- 20 pounder. Sigh!!!!!!!

Cut the copper pipe and install a flexline with sharkbite ends(make sure and do a nice job de-burring the pipe after your cuts) That should take the strain off the inlet and outlet connections. With new o-rings you should be up and running unless the plastic head on the softener has a stress crack.
