I am still looking, I am thinking about getting a Kindle Fire HDX with 32 GB of memory.
We are going to be shopping next week, looking at them at stores. We are green horns about this all.
I appreciate all the advise here.
I am wondering about the 32 gigs of memory.
Also, I have my desktop backed up with one of those little hard drives, wondering if i can or should feed this info into a tablet or if it is even compatible.

I am wondering what the life expectancy is for a Kindle Fire?
Is it advisable to get the top one or middle of the line?
I checked and it is not pricey to be online with one.

I see in the reviews that some have had problems with them, that is usual with anything, can’t please everyone.

I am wondering what I can expect to spend per month to be online with one of these devices.
Can I tag on to one of the local systems like the school or other business and use their online service free.
i am kinda dumb about this usage.

It seems like the old site was easier and just more interesting stuff on it. It seems like lots of those that used to post are not here any more for some reason.
For me lots of the stuff here now is not of interest to me. Just my take on it.

I reccommend getting a rescue shelter dog. I got my Lillie at one, she was a year and a half old, now is spoiled brat, and is very intelligent.
She was house broke, a maltese and shitzu mix, no shedding and learnes very quickly and want to please us.
    Im I bragging ? YES
Lots of Rescue Shelters online, with nice photos and all. I drove about 150 miles down the road to get our Lillie, she is such a baby. I fell in love with her the minute I saw her at the shelter.
    Hope this helps.
Oh ya, she is sleeping at my feet as I type this.

Talking about the lakes in the Hackensack area, years ago we used to fish Lost and Kid Lakes. They were good pike and bass lakes.
I have heard the weeds have kind of taken over those small lakes.Lizzard lake was another of the small ones that was deep and good, a bit hard to get into though.
I hope to get back there someday. Age has taken a toll on my now at 78 years old however.
    Tight lines to all here

As an after thought, you might consider online bill pay, it is easy, quick you still have a money trail too.
It is a very affordable service that most banks do provide.

I can only speak from experience about this. It is such a private and serious thing to happen between two people that once had strong feeling for one another.
When I went thru this, there was no love left between us, we went to a physiciatrist. He was a help, but in the end we separated, I continued to see him, and it was really a load taken off me when we separated.
He had me write in a paper pad just my thoughts and everyting that bothered me.
It is amazing what comes to mind when a person is all alone, no one to intimidate you, you are just writting your own thoughts and feelings.
No one else sees this except your loooney doctor as I call him. He would never ctiticize anything I wrote. Boy I sure got a lot of things about my life and things between me and my once dearly belowed.
Long story short, you should seek some help outside of your family. They can look at everything from a whole different prospective.
At one stage of this marrage breakup that I had I even considered suicide. So it is a very serious thing.
Outside of the family help is the best thing that I can tell you to get.
Just my take on. Hope this helps you a bit.

Years ago my folks used to bring em back, and we had an old river rat barrel smoker than really made some yummy smoked fish and meat.
Those smoked bunnies in hunting season were delish too. We used applewood and even corn cobs worked good if wood was scarce.

My asperagus is now just starting to come up, some buds are like 3 inches high here in N. iowa.
Been awfully cool, I am thinking that it will be a week or two for the morels to start.
By the way, I have discovered that when it is getting late in the season in the spring, that is when the really big uns can be found.
When most have given up looking that can be when the best ones can sometimes be found.

I carried a Union card all my working days. Both union and non-union can thank them for many benefits that both enjoy these days.

The pic on the bottom right is of corn husking hooks that were used to husk corn in the horse drawn wagon days in the fields.
Some of the Amish farmers might be interested in your stuff. I would try and contact some of them.
You see them at farmers markets and farm auctions.

Grouse, My Traverse is AWD, so far so good with towing a boat, I was told it had a 3500 towing limit, with a tranny cooler and stuff that goes with it along with a hitch and wiring.
It seems to have plenty of power to maintain speed and a lockdown to a lower gear to keep it from continous upshifting in hill and dowwn shift again.
We like it so far for towing the boat and small leaf haul trailer.

Coons are great preditors and never quit looking, they will eat about anything, and are great climbers and very good with their front feet like hands at getting into stuff and prying off covers and getting thru very small holes.
That said, a live trap baited with cheap fish catfood works best for bait, stinkier the better.
Probably have several there, so keep the trap set, and you might pick up a possum or two.
Coons like about all kinds of fish bait including nightcrawlers.
Best of luck, and keep the trap set.

Dan, this will work fine, but a big IF added.
If your sewer has a tendecy to back up, it does not appear that it makes a seal at the bottom end going into the sewer end.
It should work fine and is kind of neat how it is tightened into place.
Showers come in all sizes and materials, from cheapie ones and very expensive ones made of stainless steel.
I am wondering if the shower is stable or if it moves or flexes to make it leak.
If this is happening this problem may return in a matter of time.
    Just my thoughts on this.
I have spent 34 years doing piping and plumbing work.

    Best to ya,

    Roger

I have a rescued dog setting on my lap at this very moment. I got here from a site down by Des Moine.
I saw her online, asked them if they would save her for me, they asked “How long”. I said we will be leaving to get her in 5 minutes.
When we met her, she jumped on my lap, and wouldn’t leave.
That was 2 years ago. She was only a year and a half old then.
She is one smart doggie, sleeps by my side, house broke, never met someone she don’t like.

Oh, did I tell ya my wife and I both love her!!!!
Lots of wonderful pets at these rescue places.

    Thanks for reading.

I use some suffex 832, strong,no stretch, HOWEVER it is subject to wind knots and tangle.
I did have a palomar knot failure with it. It does cast well though aside from those things.
I got a couple of rods spooled with Berkley Crystal Fireline. It seems to cast well without the wind knots.

Just my experience, others may have different thoughts and findings.

That is a male sheep, sheep men refer to them as a RAM.
In the fall breeding season, they get mean.
Male goats are called billies, they are mean too.
Rams have been known to kill male cattle aka bulls.
Their skull are harder than bulls.
I used to raise sheep so I can tell yaa a bit about them.
