tonights dinner was a bag of wild rice soup with diced up duck breast, one of mine and my daughters favorite meals. but the best part of it was the memory of an unbelievable duck hunting i had in north dakota this year.

We ordered God Fodders (lol) with a group-on (a 2 fer 1 deal) Momma likes their “Bacon Cheese Burger” and I prefer the “Supper Combo”.

Then we Skyped with the Daughter 2200 miles away!!

You would be better off with stone ground wheat bread. White bread will kill you.

its the old ways of stretching the burger………don’t add to much and is actually tasty. IMO anyway. I don’t do this all the time though!!!

I’ve heard of oatmeal in burgers before. Seems like it would suck up the juiciness and make it more like meatloaf than a juicy burger. Don’t get me wrong…I like meatloaf, but I think I will stay away from oats in my burgers.

My mom did it when I was a kid, I don’t remember it as tasting bad. Carmelize the onions in bacon grease and then turn them into paste in food processor and add to the beef, mmmm

Never heard of shiracha sauce. Looked up the ingredients and it sounds great! How hot is it?
