Reeds had some nice stuff with free shipping.

Cabela’s brand works great. Especially if you go higher end models. You can probably find one on sale this time of year also.

Quit bass fishing. Sorry couldn’t resist. I was hoping someone had a good answer for you. I would like to do the same thing, but as far as I know there is no way to do it.

If all else fails try Louisiana Crawfish Company. They deliver to your door the next day. I have used them several times and never had any problems.

I do and now that you mention it I just replaced it about a month ago. If it is faulty would that cause the overheating.

Hit the inlet at Johnson last weekend. Great weather, no so great fishing.

There were 5 or 6 of us at the inlet, 6 or 8 guys on the ice off the dam and 1 boat on the lake. Can’t say I have ever seen that before.

Thanks guys. I have only been to local sandpits lately and they were in the low 60’s. I was a little surprised they weren’t cooler.

What is the water temp. at the local reservoirs? Looks like next week won’t cool them down much.

I started a fishing class last year at the middle school where I teach. I was in the same boat as you and not sure where to start. I made a call to the Nebraska Game and Parks to see if they had anything to offer. They directed me to some curriculums that were on-line. There were excellent lesson ideas in the sites they directed me to. We have a Cabelas in town also and they have sent speakers to my class. I don’t have the address to the web-sites handy right now but if you would like them let me know.

That was the first thing I thought of too, but it was locked in place.

Good lure once you get them to run true. I had to do more tuning in one day fishing with Smash Shads than in 4 years fishing with Flicker Shads.

We fished the canal last weekend. At the end of the day we had caught a flathead, a channel cat, several drum, several white bass, several smallmouth, and several perch. Nothing real big, but a great day on the water.

I need to make it out to some bigger water. This chilly weather really shutdown the pits I have been fishing.

Looks like a great time. I haven’t fished the canal in over a month. We did well on sauger the last time we were out but nothing near that size. I need to make it back out there.

Thanks for posting the manual BrianK.

For the problem I was having it said I need to call customer service. They informed me that the charger was to small for the batteries and system it was being used on and that it was probably shot. Interestingly I bought the boat brand new and the charger and batteries were included. The guy at customer service said this happens quite a bit.

Checked the fuses after your suggestion and they were fine. Hadn’t checked them before. Just assumed it wouldn’t work at all if one was blown.

It is a Guest 8 AMP Charger.

I also can’t find the manual, so if anyone has the same charger and it says anything in the manual about this issue I would appreciate any help.

What dictates how long of a leader you should run? Is
20-30′ a pretty average length?

I think some of the best color names are from Reaction Innovations for their Sweet Beaver lures. I have caught several on the Dirty Sanchez color.

It was a green sock, size 10, mid-calf with a firetiger color flicker shad attached to it.

Daryl, how long will the males guard the fry? I was out yesterday and saw males hanging around clouds of fry. Most were tough to get to bite, but tempted a few with a gulp sinking minnow.
