I was alittle surprised to find Gerstner is still in business and still producing that exact box. The cost for a new one is $1395!

It ran good the last time we used it but it has been sitting since the 2020 duck season. Upgraded to a newer 15 hp is the reason for sale.
First one here with the cash gets it!

There aren’t allot of public access sites because most of the shoreline is undeveloped. A few right in Havasu and a good one at cattail cove state park downriver about 14 miles near the parker dam. There are a couple more on the California side but it’s a very long roundabout drive to get to them. In the summer they are extremely busy but from November thru April it’s very quiet at the landings here. Like I said before the difference between summer and winter here is unbelievable.

Timing is everything, not much to look at but the desert right now. In winter the town is full of snowbirds that average about 75 yrs old. Beginning in may it’s a whole different crowd! Oh- and fishing has been terrible sine middle of December.

    Nope, not using microwave
Had an electrician out who determined
The issue is the line coming into the house. Totally without power now, but hopefully Connexus can get us back online tonight.

I also find that hard to believe. I’ve done the same thing on a couple of projects and no one has beat menards yet. As far as asking a small lumber yard to price match a big box store- good luck with that.

Maybe we hear about so many Polaris issues because there seems to be so many around here. It seems to me I see at least 2 maybe 3 Polaris for any 1 other brand on trails in Minnesota. I’ve owned polaris and Suzuki they all have some issues. Currently running a couple of 2016 Polaris 570sp, no problems yet and the comfortable ride sure is nice! Have fun and good luck with whatever brand you choose.

I was out there last year with a group of atvs. It is such a large area it can get intimadating. You’ll need a non resident permit and maps! We found most of the trails weren’t marked very well but are shown on the Avenza app which works pretty well when you can get cell service. My Verizon always worked but everyone else’s companies were very spotty. We spent most of our time north of deadwood or around Nemo. We plan on returning to see more of the southern trails.

The run is petty heavy with pinks with quite a few silvers mixed in before and after high tides now. Cast silver and pink pixie spoons during high tides. Pound a pink or red feathered hook in the deep runs at other times using a fly rod is working well also. All the rivers we hit were very crowded. I don’t think you’ll have much trouble catching quite a few right now.
    Have fun

Fished a river outside of Anchorage the last 2 days. Guy next to me had a 12 gauge with slugs over his shoulder, he never took it off. He said it wouldn’t be much good sitting on the riverbank. He laughed when he saw I was carrying bear spray.
Saw 2 black bears and a brown but they didn’t pose any threat to us. I felt allot safer fishing next to him! If possible I’d bring both a gun and spray with. If things did get serious I think a shot or two into the air would be more helpful then the spray.

That’s a great catch! Congrats to the angler. As for the comments about the anglers stature are they really necessary?

I’d replace the 2 screws myself, wrap some electrical tape around the wire. Then go fishing and never think about it again. That would be faster and a lot less stressful then bringing it back to dealer for such a minor issue.

I’d buy a boat now if you can afford it. If you think you may keep it 10 yrs get one big enough for your future needs. While availability may increase I don’t think prices will ever go down. Other then some electronics nothing else has in the last 30 yrs. Get one with a full windshield, much more comfortable for the wife and kids and it won’t hinder your fishing.

Simple rule of my life has been if I borrow something from anyone I make sure it’s promptly returned in good or better condition than when I received it. That being said I rarely borrow things myself.

I believe kabekona’s loop switch answer is correct. I forgot to mention earlier that the light box had power to it even after I turned the switch off. Had to shut it down at the breaker.
    Should be an easy fix.
    Thanks
