Lund78. What state are you in? If you find chanterelles in Iowa we need to talk.

Totally agree with Iowa Josh above on the two top pics. I’d be Leary of the bottom pic. Get a good reference book. I think GOOGLE can be helpful. I really like the oysters, spring, summer, fall Here in Iowa. Iowa State U. puts out a nice reference book.

Most 4 strokes are super quiet. Game warden proved that to me few years back.

My GMC Terrain had one wheel that dropped pressure, very annoying, had it resealed 2 or three times, didn’t help. Wife told me I was too old to be out in below freezing weather every two weeks as the air lines froze up and it was a hassle finding help. I finally went to the local Firestone store and got 4 new tires installed. Three months ago all 4 holding same pressure. I am not a salesman. I’m glad they never called me and said I would have to buy one of those very expensive matching wheels.

I bought the same electric tiller as Bman except mine has 4 tines. I really like it, lite weight, easy to move around, but still work for a 83 year old man. I removed a tine on each side, hope it easier, slower but easier on my back.

Son in law was at the Davenport – Rock Island dam and counted near 130 eagles fishing below the dam. -10 -20 below 0 is the first and last big open water below the dam. Couple years ago a eagle dropped a fish about 10 yards from my pickup in the parking lot. Another one swopped in, grabbed the fish and flew off. He was attacked by other eagles and he dropped the fish in the river and the fight was on.

My last pick up I bought a hard cover that folds in 4 sections. Front flips open or back flips up or the 3 back sections fold over the front section. Best most useful box cover I have ever used. Kids can walk on it, I can set heavy things on it. Surely they still sell these but be worth looking into. Best money I’ve ever spent.

I had a mouse problem few years ago. They, or it chewed wires and even chewed a gas line some. It cost me 200.00 plus at the outboard shop.

How many of you owe millions of dollars to the I.R.S. and are not in prison? Maybe Federal money laundering? Illegal withdrawals from campaign funds to your personal accounts? Slandering witnesses during federal investigations? Witness intimidation? Publicly calling our military heroes suckers and losers? Bad mouthing scientists and doctors publicly calling them liars? Ignoring the most dangerous pandemic in our history? You should run for president.

Squirrels! I have lost most of my tomatoes to those tree rats. Put out my Havahart trap and caught 4 in two days but they keep on coming and I don’t have many left. Lot of Grape and cherry plants producing good but they leave half eaten larger ones all over. cant shoot them cause I live in the city.

I have owned several boats and trailers. the one in the picture. 16′ Lund on a roller trailer was the most miserable outfit I ever had. Probably operator error some of the times, couldn’t wait to get it sold.

I have bought and sold several boats, motors and trailers through Craig’s list in years past but I sure haven’t seen any bargains lately. Getting too old anyway, I like the one I have now, think I’ll have it buried with me.

I asked the Doctor that told me I needed surgery, what recovery would be like. His answer was, “You will feel like a bus ran over you for 6 weeks or more and things will slowly improve for the next couple months.” I opted for the shot in the spinal cord which was totally painless and really helped for about 4 months. I can get 2 more within the year so couple Tylenol twice a day helps for now.
