Check out Old Oak Retrievers in Blooming Prairie MN. We have a three-year-old British lab from Rick and couldn’t be happier.

“303 Aerospace Protectant” has worked well for me the past couple years. I use it on boat seats, snowmobiles and my tonneau cover.

303 is great I use it on my boat and truck. I buy the gallon jugs and just refill the spray bottles to save a little money.

The older I get the more likely I am to leave earlier, drive slower, and just accept the fact that there are always going to be idiots on the road. Be defensive and trust nobody. My family relies on me for far too much to jeopardize my life over a minute or two of driving time, or passing/tailgating someone out of spite or anger.

Bucky your post reminded me of what an old timer told me many years ago about his drive from Austin MN to his cabin in Walker nearly every weekend in the summer.

” If you want to get there sooner leave earlier “

Congratulations James that is a big improvement over the 1850 Crestliner you guided out of 20 plus years ago.

Toyota 4-Runner or Highlander would be my choice. We have a 2015 Highlander that we bought new that has 90,000 miles. Plan on driving it a couple more years and then buy another Highlander or a Rav4.

This is the short version of the new gun bill.

    Registration of all firearms
Registration of all magazines capable of holding more than 10 rounds
Registration of all .50 caliber firearms
A ban on purchasing essentially any new semi-automatic rifles (an “assault weapons” ban)
    Mandatory lost & stolen reporting
No more than one gun purchase every 30 days
Police Chiefs would now issue permits to carry
You would be required an obtain a permit to own any firearm
Permits would require physical and mental health testing
Permits and firearms ownership would require liability insurance
Firearms could not be carried on any government property or inside any government facility – even with a permit to carry
It would be a crime to carry past a sign prohibiting carry at a private establishment
and MANY other restrictions on your Second Amendment rights

    Copied from @MinnesotaMiners twitter.

“There are 87 sheriffs in the state of Minnesota. Out of that 87 there are 76 that directly oppose the gun legislation currently sitting in this year’s legislative session”.

The seller put up a new ad today on FB. I told her she needed to lower the price by at least $2000 but she only went down $750. I guess she is not in a hurry to sell it. I’ve shared all the suggestions you guys had that’s all I can do. Here is the new posting I’m checking out.

Like I said earlier, I’m in the market for something like this. I don’t know what you guys are entering on KBB, but I’m getting numbers $3 – $4k less than what you’re showing?? The LTZ only has a few other options that aren’t part of package (bedliner & running boards) and I’ve accounted for that and the low mileage. It’s not a Crew Cab… it’s a Double Cab.

I think the market is the best indicator of sales price. If it was a good deal, it would have sold already.

Sorry Rainy it is a double cab you are correct. My bad I thought it was a crew that does lower the price $3 to 4k.

I just looked up Kelly Blue Book and the private party sale range is
$48,950 to 53,200 with an average price of $51,000. Our local Chevy dealer has similar 2022 trucks on their lot that are MSRP at $65,000 and they are discounting $500. With sales tax and license you are well North of $65k.I know there are a lot of guys and gals on this site and others that say they would never buy a new truck or car. In my opinion you would be buying a like new truck for $20 grand less than new.

The seller has had her truck listed for 8 weeks on FB marketplace and locally. She has only had a few tire kickers but no serious buyers. What is your guys and gals opinion on why so little interest on a like new low miles Chevy truck? I’m not in the market for a new truck so have not been following used and new truck prices. Do you feel the asking price is too high? Are there other sites that she may want to list it on that would get more attention? Thanks in advance for your opinions!

I have the 8″ and 10″ kindling crackers from Northern Tool. Very well built and get a lot of use splitting wood at our house and cabin. If I was only going to buy one spend the extra money and get the 10″

Buy a shaker hose siphon to fill your tank. It takes me about 3 minutes to empty a 6 gallon can.

Shaker siphon works great. We have multiple around the house and 1 in the boat.

    X2 on the shaker hose.

Invisible fence folks recommended that for the first two weeks have the collar set at a lower intensity level. If your dog isn’t stopped by the little zap they can increase the ZAP and that should resolve the problem.
