I’m not sure what to do I would like to go to the Er but Mt mom just says it’s from knots in my neck
My buddy was out on fosters, he said he went to drill a hole and the ice cracked beneath them, still only 3 inches or so and still sketchy in spots. BE CAREFUL!!
i would recommend the sledge hammer by banded its cheap ($25) and dosent take a lot of air to use. C&S is good too but is expensive.
went out to a small creek today didn’t have permission to hunt the better part of the creek so i hunted the next property up. things were slow but did manage to get a greenhead in the morning and a black duck in the afternoon.
Picked up several hundred mallards a few days ago, the best time of year is finally here
believe it or not ive been seeing a lot more where im at (southeast Minnesota) i havent seen any in the last few years but this year ive seen 2 coveys around 15 birds.
That’s what I thought at first but it was a yearling and didn’t find anything that could suggest it’s been shot. Maybe pneumonia?
Need some weather soon haven’t seen hardly any Ducks for 3 weeks.
Another good bow would be the Mission Craze, it would be a great bow for him to learn on and grow into.
Anybody know any decent public land around the cities? I live too far away to do any scouting of my own. Not looking for anyone’s honey hole just a place where I might be able to shoot a few.
try using lots of flashy lures (like slender spoons) about 3-4 feet below the ice.
i usually catch all my fish from a foot under the ice to 6 foot. how thick was the ice?
last week there was about 6-7 inches, i would assume there would be some water on top but it should be OK. be cautious around the springs on the west side. as far as spots go,right off the dock has been a hot spot lately with trout coming in just under the ice. Good Luck! Be Safe!
The bite is on! the just stocked it! there is quite a few fish being caught some with some hook jaws.
in my opinion late season is the best time of year for ducks. just find some open water and the ducks will come if there is any around. ive heard stories of people just dumping some water on ice and shooting ducks.
Are you guys 100% sure on this? im going tomorrow and i don’t want to be breaking any laws, and is it legal to set up decoys in the river and hunt from the boat?
about an inch of ice along the edges, looks like someone drilled a hole and ponderosa too
