4″ on the iron range. Was out on two different small lakes to confirm it today.
Nothing down here, unless it is a deep cliff setting small spot. Then maybe only a skiff but not covering the whole surface.
Park rapids area has up to 4″ on some targeted shallow lakes. Deeper lakes are just starting to get a nice layer.

Dang! That looks more like an inch of ice in the picture! Stay safe fellas, no fish is worth dying for. CAUTION at early ice!
1/2″ or less in the Bay Point Marina in Red Wing. River level is up about 1′-2′. Last year I was ice fishing & catching gills & crappies in the same area!
1/2 inch in the frozen areas of Pools 7 and 8, otherwise open water.
