Do you know the brand of that crankbait mold?

Yeah, I always wonder how McD’s stays in business with all the other options for fast food and fast casual there are now that are so much better. I don’t know anyone who loves McD’s – just those like myself that tolerate it when there’s no better options. For example, International Falls. If you want a quick bite on the way to Canada, you pretty much got McDs, Subway or a gas station sandwich. S&G said it best – “Laugh about it, shout about it, when you got to choose – anyway you look at it you lose!”
Or if you’re coming into IFalls on 71 you got Hardee’s. I don’t think I have crossed the border once in the last 5 years (about ten times) and not eaten there. It’s become a ritual.
I don’t think it’s an option either. If you’re wanting to see a wider view of the SI with the split screen you can adjust the viewer size, making the SI viewing side wider and the map side narrower. I know that’s not exactly the same, but could help.
That’s a good point, but still seems like a little better trade for the Bills.
Actually seems like a great trade by the Bills, and more terrible for the Texans. As bucky mentioned, Keenan Allen was traded for just a single 4th round pick and he’s not a lockeroom problem child like Diggs. Arguably a better receiver than Diggs too.
Funny thing is the 2nd round pick that Houston traded away was the pick they just acquired from the Vikings.
A fresh start for Diggs will be good and Demeco Ryans is a great coach to help with that.
Not sure. Is there a way to tell?
You can look at the serial number to determine that. Or post some pictures that may help identify the versions.

He was also casting to the bank with a spinnerbait earlier, only catching dinks.
I suspect Cody Huff is scoping for his fish. Doubt he’s beating the bank and catching 4 pounders like he’s got so far.
Correction: turns out that Huff has been catching fish on a spinnerbait and crankabit. Must have found a school or two or good fish.
Wow…few things to do:
*Pair Iphone App with TM; software update
*Pair Heading sensor with TM, calibrate, then heading offset
*Boat Scale adjustment
*Learned and have reference guide for Stow Reset and Trim Reset
Those middle two are easy to do and you shouldn’t need to do them again after the first time setting it up.
The phone app isn’t necessary. It may be handy to have in case you happen to not have the remote or foot pedal with you, but using a phone as the remote would be my last resort. And personally I don’t do any software updates unless I’m experiencing any issues, which has been maybe once since 2017 when I got my terrova.
acarroline,
The +1 or -1 can be two differen things.
There is the heading offset for the heading sensor that you adjust after you install and calibrate the puck, ranges of +30 to -30.
Then there is also boat scale adjustment which ranges from +2 to -2.
Here is the heading sensor installation and user manual.

Minn Kota trolling motors with improved spot lock that included the heading sensor were first available late in 2017.I was told direct by a Minn Kota rep. that the heading sensor has no effect at all on the spot lock accuracy. The only reason to even mount it was if you like and use the Jog feature. When I purchased and mounted mine last summer I did not even mount the Heading sensor at all. The jog feature was not anything I cared about. If I want to move the boat 5 ft any direction I will stop the spot lock and move the boat and re-spot lock it again.
That is correct. It’s simply a compass to tell the motor the orientation of the boat for the job feature. It communicates with the TM via bluetooth, same with the remote. The commonly called “bluetooth version” of ipilot came out in 2017 and is easily identifiable by seeing the bluetooh label/logo on the TM head and if there is a white heading sensor (not GPS) puck.
thumper, you’re missing out by not utilizing the jog. It’s especially handy in breezy conditions. I use it all the time. It’s pretty easy to install, setup, calibrate. Highly recommend.
There’s 3 generations. One easy way to tell the difference is the remote.
1st Gen had a Long skinny remote, non touch screen.
2nd Gen was a shorter touch screen.
3rd Gen is the smallest of all three, keypad(at least to me) is similar to the layout of a Solix unit.
Those remotes are only for iPilot LINK.
The regular ipilot remotes are the same for gen 1 and 2. Gen 3 (bluetooth) are similar size/shape with more buttons.
I’m not sure that the new Quest series of motors have any different GPS/spot-lock versions than the existing bluetooth versions.
3rdtryguy, the bluetooth version came out in 2017 and is regarded as the best version. I believe there are 3 generations. I don’t remember when the 2nd gen came out but guessing around 2013.
The Bemidji game sold out on Monday or Tuesday so the Sanford Center should be a rocking place on Friday. Go Beavers!
The only power draw would be the small LED light and the communication between the TM head and the remote. The amount of draw has to be so miniscule that it doesn’t make a difference to leave the power on all day. I’d be more worried about wearing out the power button over time if you’re turning it on/off every time you deploy/stow the motor.
Turn the power on when you launch the boat and turn it off when you load the boat. No need to turn it on/off anymore than that.
I always get a kick out of this topic. Price of lodging, gas, food, licenses, etc isn’t a problem, but worry about a few bucks in duty.
I’ve been up to Finlayson the last couple of summers and will again this summer. Finlayson can be challenging to find fish. Lots of deep water with steep shoreline breaks. Not much for offshore hazards to worry about, just give good distance from islands and shore.
Marmion has better fishing but as others said quite a few hazards. It’s a popular lake and the landing is perfectly fine as there are plenty of bigger boats that are used out there. There are other good lakes in the area that can accommodate your boat just fine, but 4×4 would be good to have as others said since the landings are all earthen.
I like Mercer too. He’s so good at his job and seems like a good, fun person. I used to get annoyed by the phrase but I’ve gotten over it, but its still cheesy.
As required by TPWD, bass must measure 14 inches to count. Judges weigh them on the boat with immediate release unless the fish is over 24 inches.
So there are a couple of fish that are over the 24″ mark and will be brought in for Mercer to scream “G-G-G-Giant bass!”
That’s not Zaldain’s boat. He runs a Nitro, not a Ranger.
I think it’s Bryan Schmitt’s boat.
Quite a showing for the rookies too. 7 of the 10 rookies in the top 21 places, with 2 of the top 5. Should be quite the ROY race this season.
Here’s the project details. Doesn’t look like construction of the actual roundabout isn’t until 2026, but other stuff in the meantime.
Jay was ROY in 2022 and 10th in AOY, including the win at St. Lawrence with the biggest bag of smallmouth ever. Last year he finished 6th in AOY.
open at the rapids already.will see what the cold weather does to it now
We’ve been spoiled that the “cold weather” in the forecast is simply average temperatures for this time of the year.
Does the Terrova have regular iPilot or iPilot Link? Those are two different things and will determine what you can/can’t do and what remote you may need. As Karry stated earlier it should say on the motor head.
