That was my 2nd guess, Asian Beatles. Always messing with the plumbing.

Growing up our pressure switch was hanging on a wire run between the base of the windmill, we would have issues with it every winter until we finally dug it in and moved it inside in to the basement.

Glad it was something simple and inexpensive. My uncle is a plumber/excavator and I used to help him out from time to time so I know enough to have a general idea, then I bought our current house. Drain field failed, couple septic tank pumps, float switch recently failed, 2 pressure tanks, 1 just out of warranty, and the 52 year old well pump, which failed in January during the big snows of last year. The previous owner had the well cap in the middle of a fence, at least I had moved the fence knowing I would need access to the pump some day. I’m getting good at knowing what the cause of the problems are.

Every bunk trailer I’ve owned the end of the bunk lined up with the transom. I think the transom needs the support of the bunk under it.

    I was thinking that also.

The pressure tank won’t have anything to do with not having water but just cause the well to short cycle….I will be ordering a new pressure tank tomorrow, mine just died 1 year out of warranty. I agree with the switch, I have a light wired into the pump that turns on when the pump is getting power which is helpful since you can’t always hear if the well pump is running. You can do the same thing with a tester, see if you are getting power going to the pump?

Near our place it is illegal to have permanent stands on pu lic land but there were several out there and for a lot of years, like 2-3 stands in the same location as the old ine wasn’t safe anymore. I used to hunt out of them once in a while, I even talked to one of the guys that built them when he was out grouse hunting and walked by me bowhunting, wasn’t a big deal I was using it. Then one year on opening day the dnr went out and anyone hunting in them got fined and they got to spend the day taking the stand they were in down. There aren’t any stands out there anymore.

I have done a couple and I did poly on both and have been really happy with them. No maintinance and easy cleaning.

The belt maintinance is interesting on the babymax, take off the cab and remove the trans to get to it but that just seems to be the way things are today. Friend is on his 2nd one and he likes it but doesn’t keep them long enough to do the 100k maintinance.

Is it a 4 stroke? If it is then it is a Suzuki and you can take it to a Suzuki dealer. The only difference was in the controls side of things, BRP used their wire harness and controls.

I prefer dealing with vets out in SD who understand that I want to do what is needed and not run every test on the face of the earth trying to find some rare disease so they can really charge me.

My dogs have had Limes a few times over the last 20 years. I can spot it within a day or so but it is such a joke now, they require a $100 test to give them $20 of drugs. It doesn’t do anything to them to take the drugs if it isn’t Limes, they are just covering their ass and charging everyone more….such a joke this day we live in now.

I have the same hubs and it was converted to grease at some point.
FYI – the bearings for oil and grease are the same so converting over is easy and you can use the same parts.

the new pins came with patchloc on them but yes, you should use loctite when putting them back together.

You can see how some of the pins have some pretty deep grooves.

My picture didn’t show up….I use Sil-glide from Napa. I’ll try taking it again tomorrow, pretty crazy seeing grooves in the pins that sit in a rubber bushing….this caused the calipers to sag enough that the pads were rubbing on the hub.

You’re far better off going to a bar or actual restaurant than going to McDonalds. You will likely save money too. I hadnt been to McDonalds in quite a while. Went there because I was craving a quarter pounder with cheese for some reason. Got a meal with a chocolate shake and it was $17!

It is crazy how much things have gone up….the quarter pounder meal was $5 forever and now it is $10…I still go there a couple times a year because of the good things they do mainly the Ronald McDonal house, we used it a few times while our son was at Children’s.

Wow, congrats. My son wants to try archery, the bow was only half the cost of the entire package so I know what you mean…and of course if 1 kid does it the other wants to also so we will be going back to get the daughter a bow as well, which I am fine with, anything to get them outside.

I have a set of Grundens and it is awesome…it’s also what most of the commercial guys that rely on their gear and work it hard wear everyday. I think my set was around $250 for the set. Go with the traditional cut, the way it is cut is how it breathes.

We’ll be back up there next summer for 10-12 days. Us and another couple, we rent a house and plan out different days trips, some sight seeing/hiking and a few fishing. We love this trip, beautiful place to visit and we bring home a couple coolers of fish. We don’t do cruises, not our thing but a lot of people including my parents like the cruises in AK. Have fun.

Yup…I feel your pain. Ours went up like 40% I think. We’d been with them only 1 year. Our HO, auto and umbrella all went up but somehow it averaged a 25% increase. Not sure how that works but that’s what all the premiums combined went up. Our agent said the same thing. Our financial advisor told us a few weeks ago that some carriers were not even taking on new clients and will not quote new policies. She said she’d heard of 75% increases on some carriers/policies. Unbelievable. Now my wife is mad at me because I just want to pay it and not waste time getting quotes again! Marriage is great…

That’s what your Insurance Company is hoping. I’m shopping mine EVERY year anymore.
You pay and pay and pay. If you have an accident or house damage they try and talk you out of turning it in. If you do turn it in the next year you get a HUGE premium raise or a cancelation notice. You never hear of an insurance company going bankrupt.

Insurance companies are just a business and go under every day. Scottsdale just closed one of their divisions/company about a month ago.

In case people missed it the cost of everything is going up, not sure why insurance would be any different.

Get the surgery, money should not matter if the dog is a family member, if your wife tore her ACL would you not get it fixed?

my wife’s days of retrieving pheasants are long behind her so probably not.

The vet said she would probably heal fine without the surgery once scar tissue built up but it would slow her down. With her bloodlines I don’t think she will make it past 12 and with the surgery she wouldn’t be back to full speed until she is 10.5. I was planning on doing the surgery until the vet said she would probably be fine without it.

MN has been a santuary state since your guy Wellstone and the Somalis he was bringing in to get votes. A little diversity will just make it a better place.

When I buy a car I look as much at the person I am buying from as I do the car. Are things taken care of around their house and garage or is the place a total dump, they normally treat and take care of their vehicles the same way as their other stuff.

They need to make that stupid lake in front of the beach no wake and add more docks along the dike wall there.

The Easymove dolly’s are the best thing ever. I have them at home and we have several at work. I used to have the old style mover and that was ok but this thing is unbelievable, so easy to move the sleds around the shop, love it. I see they also have big tire kits now for uneven ground.

I was going to go this weekend but the Pack won and it looks like it will still be cold so we are going to hunt the last weekend of the SD season, hope the birds are holding tight in the snow.
