I started out using my Toro self propelled this spring with old 10% cow pi$$ gas from last summer and old gas left in the mower.
The only issue I have is it takes one or 2 more pulls to get started, once running no issues.

Lower heat until first one splits will reduce the loss of flavor and juice. For the char, just roll them accross the grates every 5 minutes or so.

I prefer them on the pellet grill, smoke on low for ~ 1/2 to 1 hour, then turn up to ~ 300 and check every few minutes until first one splits.

Best I’ve had is from Lynn’s custom meats in Hayward.

Condition is everything – yours are in pretty bad condition. The lazy ike is in better shape, but very common.

NFLCC and Ebay can give you an idea of what they are worth, my perspective is a few bucks each if that.

Clean, repaint and enjoy using them for fishing – you’ll get more out of using them than what they are worth, money wise.

Drive the area lake’s shorelines – you will find out where the locals gather.

Bet your water table has dropped and you are running out causing the pump to overheat and trip.

I like limes with Corona or Tequila.

Seriously – adopted 2 Bengal cats that had horrible digestive issues and were never socialized as they were caged “kitty mill” cats. The only info we got from the adopting agency was they were 2 years old and were in rough shape physically due to their horrible diet and living conditions. The younger one had the runs so bad she hit the litter box every 20 minutes or so until her system was emptied. We took a chance on adopting both as they needed each other – thinking they might be momma and kitten.

One year later – they are both healthy (raw diet) and have improved in their trusting humans. They even ask for pets! They still do not understand what they are capable of physically, but are learning how to jump up and climb.

Adopting them saved their lives. Even though we spend a bit more on the raw food, it is worth every penny.

It was neat. The wind picked up and cooled us off a few degrees as the totality neared. Yes, birds were confused and started to roost + neigbors chickens were a little stressed. Very cool seeing the sun’s corona and flares. First time experiencing total, would recommend to anyone to experience at least once in their lifetime.

State Farm is the worst for keeping your rates high for no good reason. Dumped them decades ago for my car insurance and went with Geico for 60% of what SF was charging. Dumped them for my home insurance as well and went with Liberty (Geico subsidiary?).
Shop around, you will find a much better deal.

Fished Mountain and Moose back in the early ’80’s. Good laker action in both – although smaller @ 1-4# size. Caught many from shore and could see other lakers following the hooked fish as I reeled them in.

Fargo is the only “drama” show that I watch.
I agree, seasons 1-3 were entertaining, season 4 not so much. So far season 5 looks good.
The only part I do not care for is the over the top Minnesota accents that some of the characters utilize.

That sweet potato crap with maple syrup, pecans, brown sugar and marshmallow on top. A close 2nd is the cranberry cylinder. It’s the simplest thing to make good cranberry sauce from scratch. Cranberry, water, sugar, lemon zest, cinnamon. My sister in law just cooks a can of crushed pineapple with sugar, water and cranberries and you wouldn’t even know pineapple was in it.

Damn – add pinapple to my list……….

I’ve also added frozen blueberies, black/rasp berries and just about any other frozen berries as well.

    Stove top stuffing
    canned cranberries
    margarine
    instant potatoes
    freezer pies

for those that hate cranberries – try some fresh cooked:
    1 bag of berries
    cup of sugar
    cup water
(I sub fresh orange juice + orange zest for the water)
    1/2 tsp cinnmon
    scant pinch cloves

combine and cook on low, stirrig occassionally until the berries pop

next day leftovers eating it cold is just as good or better

Fresh is best – cooking good food is not hard.

I have smoked for an hour or so @125, then place in foil pan to finish cooking @250-300F – I prefer to leave it uncovered.
Roasting pan w/rack, this gives best results – although my experience is limited to oven use. Can’t convince the wife to sacrifice the one we have.

My connection to the Holiday/Erickson’s stores:

Cambridge Mn had an Erickson’s grocery, which I believe opened in late 60s. The brothers were Dean and Harold (?). They owned the Holiday franchises as well, mostly gas with some sporting goods and expanded the sporting goods and changed to Holiday Plus in the early 80s. They owned a large farm on intersection of County road 9 and Hwy 65, which has been preserved and was used in a movie.
My older brothers worked there in the early 70s. One went on to help open and manage the Holiday station store in Prescott. I started at the Cambridge Erickson’s in 1980 and left in 1984 to work at the Holiday Plus in Fridley on the overnight stock crew. Helped stock the new Pymouth stre before it opened as well. Worked my way up to the supervisor of the overnight crew and left in early 1986. The brothers either died or sold out in the 90s and the Cambridge store changed owners/names and eventually closed.
Wish they had kept the sporting goods franchise – it rivaled everyone for price and selection back in the day.

Full disclosure – I work at a big box hardware store in the appliance department. Have been selling appliances now for about 5 years. If you stay with a well know brand, you are going to be better off in terms of service work. Always ask the sales rep or verify that the brand you are going with has qualified technicians in your area.
We just had to replace a GE refrigerator as the compressor went out after only 3 years time! We decided to just go with an LG model as I myself rarely hear complaints from my customers about this brand.
To be sure, all brands will have their issues – what you need to be sure of is that in home tech support is available.
    Just my two cents.

Must be an LG rep. Your experience is not typical, nor real. Everyone I’ve encountered that has LG or Samsung has the opposite perspective. Their tech supoort was the WORST. My wife was on hold for HOURS and still got the run around. The service “vendors” explained that they are junk. Several service vendors we contacted wouldn’t even touch one under warranty due to the issues they have had getting reimbursed.
