It’s not as cut and dry as brookies can’t be kept, they can be kept on some streams. I’m not seeing any mention of brookies other than in the regs for specific streams starting on page 4, am I missing something?

Love the headline…
Calvin Johnston’s 38-pound, 7-ounce trout, caught in sub-freezing temperatures on the White River, is one of the largest ever landed; gets no help from brother
February 22, 2013 at 8:41 pm #1144884Great photos John… Were you there when that duck hit the window at SAP? That poor girl got knocked out and her partner took advantage of the situation while she napped. lol
January 9, 2013 at 4:06 pm #1128597Our group of 5 is in the planning stages, has anyone ever done a houseboat rental out of Sioux Narrows? Looking for the good and bad compared to staying at a cabin or lodge. We did a fly-in last year to a lodge but didn’t like being tied to the lodges meal schedule, we want to be more on our own this time around.
December 26, 2012 at 6:03 pm #1123968Sounds like a good time to try a few tipups! I’ve been spoiled like most of us…when my vexilar battery dies I pack up and go home.
October 31, 2012 at 6:06 pm #1108688No, I’ve bought plenty of things from Glen’s and have been very satisfied. Customer service is great if you’re not satisified with your purchase. I’m looking forward to stopping there tomorrow on my way to deer camp.
April 25, 2012 at 8:48 pm #1062518I read somewhere about someone jigging with the an ice fishing pole and a vexilar thrown over the side. Haven’t tried it yet, but plan to soon.
March 29, 2012 at 11:34 am #1053710Hmmm, I wonder if that 1/2 day guided trip I have with them is worth the paper it’s printed on, I’m guessing they won’t be guiding for a while.
March 28, 2012 at 7:07 pm #1053565If it were me I don’t think I’d be chatting about this in a public forum. Some of the suggestions being given are not exactly legal. It would only take one DMV employee to see this and flag your name in their system. Just saying…. and NO I do not work for the DMV…thank god.
March 16, 2012 at 11:48 am #1049785Anyone ever take their vexilar with on a fly in? That’s all I have at the momoent for a fishfinder and I’m wondering if it will do the job. No plans to buy the high speed transducer, just roll with the iceducer.
January 20, 2012 at 1:45 pm #1030387Thanks for all the information guys, the rod is back in action and I looks almost as good as new.
January 13, 2012 at 2:48 pm #1027592I’m really getting the itch… any good ice out there? Hoping the snow didn’t slow things down too much in the ice making department. Looks like we have some cooler weather coming next week.
December 29, 2011 at 4:55 pm #1022334The ice is clear and not very thick, but it should hold you. Just stay shallow, bring your ice picks, and don’t bring the shorties. You owe me a beer.
December 22, 2011 at 12:56 pm #1020284Great, thanks for the information guys. Now we just need some $%#* ice!!!
December 23, 2010 at 2:00 am #919493Looks like Friday is spoken for Bret, I’ll take tomorrow. Two heads are better than one!
December 21, 2010 at 6:44 pm #919038I had the same issue with my 8 inch lazer, was not impressed and it was sent down the road for half price.
December 20, 2010 at 8:39 pm #918775I made these for my flip last year and liked them, if you don’t have a zipper door on your flip they are not ideal.
December 10, 2010 at 10:19 pm #916091IceNutz – I just sent a few PM’s your direction but they aren’t showing in my sent folder. Can you PM me a price on the tip-downs?
Thanks much,
Matt
December 7, 2010 at 10:56 pm #915279I used the compass app during deer season to mark stands and figure out the shortest way to drag deer. Worked pretty good for a freebie. The Lakemaster app would be awesome.
November 18, 2010 at 5:12 pm #910643I can’t take the credit, the link came from a fellow IDAer that posted it here a few days back.
November 17, 2010 at 8:23 pm #910412If I get divorced, fired, or drop out of school you’re to blame. Awesome game!
August 19, 2010 at 9:17 pm #894514I’ll check the compression. How would I tell if it’s the hub? I’ve never had to work on an outboard before. If it is the hub are there two options…
1. Pull the prop and have the hub repaired
or
2. Replace the prop and hub
If that’s the case I’m thinking replacing may be cheaper, assuming I can do that myself.
