Just east of it. Stayed til about 8:00, had worked the west bay w/just a few small pike , fished cribs at site 8 w/no action. Had fun on the bar. First time on cedar in years. Hadn’t been back due to condition of landing on south end. Sounds like it may have improved.

Just finished cleaning nice batch of cedar lk sunnies for wife’s folks (90 & 93 yrs old), stopped keeping when got enough for supper. Kept 9 & 10 inchers. All else cpr, 4 northerns, 2 walleye, lg mouth & missed a musky. Quite a full day for a couple of 70 yr olds. Down side is our spot no secret now. Lake association does a great job.

I like my7 with Johny Ray mount. Touch screen may not be as practical in colder weather as doesn’t respond well to cold fingers. Still learning the side/down scan, but a definite advantage. Good luck

Both my wife and I wear inflatables every time out. No problem in heavy rain and we wear them outside our rain gear. Only problem was when left in “dry storage”. Couple of inches in compartment and mine inflated.
Extra perk: had granddaughters out on the croix when wis dnr checked us out. All in PFDs, everybody in our boat got a coupon from dairy queen.

My wife managed an ortho clinic 17 years specializing in knees. Regardless which option you choose, surgeons only do part of the procedure. Their Doc stressed 1/2 of the procedure is up to the patient. Succesfull outcome depends on you committing to therapy. Good luck.

Same problem, can’t get follows (5 in past 2 wks) to eat. Forget suckers, couldn’t find any from St Paul to Hayward. Croix muskies still there but only curious imho. My fall tactics apparently don’t work in summer.

Roof Hail Damage. Check, may need contractor. Look for impact points (spots missing granules) spider web or asterisk lines radiating out from center are significant damage. Not urgent repair but may break up w/in 3 yrs.

Definitely Trimec, at least 2 x. Fleet Farm stocks concentrate, pre-mixed and spray bottles. Grass friendly.

Many positives, yes. But made in USA is beginning to applyonly to their higher end models. Hope they correct that. Hasn’t seemed to affect quality though.

Also trouble with 520 for 2 years. Jumped through aallthe hoops with Lowrance but it boils down to a power issue. Awhile back another ido’er posted the simplest answer: Remove power wire from unit 3 minutes then reconnect (red wire nmea 2000). If reboot works, put toggle switch inline on red wire for rebooting. Problem occurs each time main boat power is shut off.
Finally gave up, needed trustworthy gps for safe, dependable navigation. Put a
hds 7 gen 2 on console, moved 520 to bow (new power connection) and the 520 hasn’t failed since. Go figure….

Stepson keeps pontoon at Hudson Marina. Early this spring thieves got electronics, radio,, even the captains chair. Snapped the cover back down to avoid detection.

Far too much, about 1500 but still less than used to spend on alcohol. Fishing is my substitute addiction.

The Accessory Shop, New Richmond, Wi. 715 246 2277. Little pricey, but excellent work from creating new to repairing old. I’ve used them about 15 years & always satisfied.

Quality hearing, 2 blks ne of maplewood mall (also in Eagan). Been with them 15 years. Local people, very knowledgable. Excellent products and don’t sell it if you don’t need it. Prices will amaze you and they give excellent service IF you need it. I strongly recommend them.
No question, if you think youmay need h aid, YOU DO. When you get them, ask your homeowners insurance carrier about insurance for them. $5 to 10 per mo on a rider should get you replacement coverage.
    HAPPY HEARING.

Planning on the show since we had grass. Checking Reeds for deals on Lowrance HDS 7 gen 2 touch.. They usually have best samples on hand. Also want to take in a seminar or two. Usually a quality show.

DO IT. No Hesitation. Sounds familiar, but didn’t follow through. Wife said yes but I thought I was too old (51). 20-20 hindsight. Now, at 71, I see her wisdom. Pedal to the metal and don’t look back.

Great pic’s. Going out on the croix tomorrow, hope to even 1/2 as well as you did. Love the mixed bag for excitement though. Tried polk county today for muskies, Croix is closer. Thanks for your posts.

Just got back from chasing musky, missed two (not very aggressive).First time out with our gopro. More humorous than successful. Suggest you spend extra time working with it before hitting the water, but it will be time well spent. Definitely a good new “tool”.

We’ve been using a “porta-potti” for quite a few years. Wife is 68 and wants to be fishing 2 – 3 times/wk. Porta-potti always goes along.

Wife and I were a Judge team a few years ago in the PMT tourney held on the Croix. Range from Stillwater to Prescott, no live bait. 49 catch/photo/release, 1 killed. only 1 was kinni to Prescott, 4 w/in 3 miles of Afton, about 8 north to I-94 (4 over 49?) the rest from Hudson north. Yes, the Croix can be a productive fishery. Putting them in your boat is the challenging part.
Personal choices St Croix 7′ to 8′. 7 is good all around, but 8 gives more leverage to throw the heavy stuff and helps do better figure 8. Everybody has their own personal choice of lures, just ask around. Happy Hunting.

LOTW camping. Clark & Crombie Camp, Nestor Falls. Right in Nestor Falls, handy to necessities, guide service available if needed, have a fairly complete web site. We stayed there 2 years ago & plan to return next month.

Patronize your store a lot, but you are going too far. Please stop posting your ads on this site. Pulled up your ad here just as the Fleet Farm ad appeared on channel 4. A bit too much.
