and the BEAT goes on, 8 fish under 20 tonite! Well into the 40s again in just under 6 hours. Gotta love a “struggling” fishery that can produce like that! In under 12 hours of fishing the last 2 dayswe have boated 5 fish over 27, but no 28s, makes a guy wonder how many of those big girls get knifed! 
about 8 is completely died, took um about 12 minutes to find out how to tweek the presentaion to trigger the bite, but id say it was almost better without wind amazinly, i thought we were sckewed when it died, NOPE!

imo cold water could potentialy be the bigger factor of the spawns success, 35 degrees is along way from 46 and snowmelt isnt gonna help the warm up, we wont see air temps in the fiftys for 8 days here, yuck!

Move, move, move! We had all of 30 on friday, at least a dozen fat legals. Took 12 moves to get them though!
Temps are down 4to5 degrees, water has gotten much more sediment in it, clarity under a foot, night bite was terrible last week, maybe 10 fish, maybe. Down from near 50 fish nights in the weeks prior, that said moons full and you cant catchem unless your fishin! I do caution there has been alot of ice coming down, some sizeable peices so watch it
