May 1, 2006 at 2:48 am #442365I would try the whitebreat area for crappie, find some trees in the water, I’ve heard it’s low but with these rains who knows what the level will be
March 22, 2006 at 6:46 pm #432264I think there is, but I haven’t heard much about anything being caught, below the spillway they have had a little luck but not much yet.
March 15, 2006 at 4:23 am #430118you are right about the the runoff from farming, but this can be a step toward that direction, My understanding is IA should get federal money for passing this bill. I agree that this isn’t and end all, just a start. If more farmers would follow what farmers in NE IA did it would be a tremendus help. either way the links are there for everyone to talk to our legislators about all water quality issues.

November 1, 2005 at 7:24 pm #393394I had to post, after about 10 years of smoking and chewing, I decided to quit cold turkey (and this was after numerous tries) I just stop buying them and told nobody. didn’t even touch any type of tobacco for over a year. that was 7 years ago. You have to want to do it. I had tried the gum once that didn’t help. I thought I did good, but after a couple of weeks I said something to my wife and she had known, and informed me I was very grumpy Oh well, she was happy I quit though. and after 7 years I still get the urge, I don’t think it ever goes away completely. All I can really say is good luck and I’m behind you.
October 18, 2005 at 6:45 pm #390400I hear you, We are a new club, with four officers, and last year with just six people we barely filled the positions, Our election is in a little over two weeks. We have had growing pains as well. We don’t have a awards dinner though it has been touched upon, and we have over 50 members in a years time, I think we have a few good ones that will run. But I am interested as well in Ideas.
September 3, 2005 at 10:12 am #382028it’s worse than a train wreck, I can’t stop watching it, wish I could do something to help.
