    Fished the Maquoketa River today and caught some nice Smallmouth on tubes and crankbaits. Had to leave when it started to pour down rain(forgot my rain gear).

    Fished BC that past two weedends. Did pretty well on Bluegill and that was it. No Crappie or Walleye since spring. Bill at Polk City Bait said the DNR need to do something with the lake!

    Talked to a guy who caught some dink walleyes and a few cats. Kinda looked just like you.
