Ford guy’s post right before yours is a great example.

Ford guys post is not a tourney problem, it’s a parking problem. I’m all for “cracking down” on cars/trucks parking in designated trailer parking spots. Love to see these Dbags get ticked and towed ! It is a huge problem.

    -J.

It was a tourney problem. They had over 75 boats and did not most likely have a permit. They also took up more than 50% of the parking spots at the landings. Some landings I fish are posted as boat trailer only parking, other just say parking for landing use only. Those that say landing use only don’t need to have a trailer to park there. Some do have a mix. some marked as boat trailer only parking and some spaces say for landing use only. Sometimes there is someone meeting a guy with a boat at a landing. They need someplace to park their auto as well.

If you go on the mn dnr website you can see all of the tournaments that have permits. The kayak tournament had a permit.

Seeing multiple cars without trailers taking up an entire trailer spots is very frustrating at busy ramps. You would think they could at least figure out that two cars fit into one spot.

The dnr has a list of tournaments with permits on their website. It’s always a bummer when you get to your destination and the lot is full but I don’t see the difference between whether the lot is full of people tournament fishing vs anything else. Well other than multiple single cars taking up a full trailer spots each. That one is frustrating.

They had softball on the big TV while I was getting lunch this afternoon. I didn’t see anything wrong with what they wear but because of this thread that is the first time I’ve ever watched softball on tv.

You could smoke them for a couple hours one night then finish them in the oven the next night before you eat.

    If you google:

The 5 Best Dirt Bike Trails in Minnesota

    You will get a list.

FWIW – I assumed they were legal on ATV trails. See them all the time on the Red Top trail near Mille Lacs. Guess not!

    -J.

    Red Top is atv/ohm shared.

The northern half of the state has quite a few trails. You can look at the dnr map and look at the legend for which trails you can ride. https://www.dnr.state.mn.us/ohv/interactive_map/index.html. You will need an ohm trail registration sticker and spark arrestor. Children under 16 need to take the ohm safety training.

Psi isn’t the determining factor for safe ice thickness. A 90,000 lb dozer with lgp tracks has similar psi ground pressure to a person on foot. That dozer isn’t going out on 2-3″ of lake ice but people can.

Ethenol and gas have different weight by volume, why are we all of a sudden using pounds as our measuring unit for fuel. I buy by the gallon, I check my mileage by the gallon, and my tank holds xx amount of gallons. My anecdotal experience is that if it’s not greater than 26% cheaper I’m not even considering it, which it rarely is anymore. Every time I stop at a gas station I end up buying beef jerky which cost per pound really throws off the calculations.

So in the days of everything being recorded all the time you two think the reported swastikas are real because your news told you it? You just reported about all the other things on video. Why isn’t this? Democrats are the most brainwashed people on the planet.

I always voted red until DJT made me step back and reassess my values and what was important to me. If you’re unsure what side the guys flying swastikas were on, you might be the brainwashed one.

I’d imaging if you asked someone Jewish who currently flys the swastikas it would be more like Whoopi, the squad, and a few other dems, not DJT. There are plenty of reasons not to like the guy, do you really need to make other ones up?

Some people seem to think the people Cameron is being delayed by on his route to Fargo are the same people protesting 1000 plus miles away in Ottawa. Everyone will tend to see things through their own lenses, that is normal. I personally think regardless of the message, protests today can easily be down played or even condemned by the actions of a few, perhaps within the group or strategically placed by the opposition. It also helps if you have media allies and or power, that is why I agree with some that this will likely not lead to anything productive. I would not expect anything less from prime minister two face, to use any means necessary to down play and condemn the people supporting this.

All good points for consideration, gentleman. Thank you.

We’re going out of Arnesen’s and they transport you so no vehicle. As for the solar thing, I would mostly use the panel to keep it topped or at least to extend the the life of the charge. Otherwise I think I’d plug it in at home for full charging. for a 3 night stay I don’t think we’d need to recharge the phones more than 3-4 times each plus maybe 1 or 2 tablet charges and perhaps a flasher battery. If specs tell the truth, it wouldn’t even need a recharge for that.

Lot of gas fans here, and that would be the more than adequate. I’m not opposed to it but intrigued by the compact nature and portability of these. Was hoping maybe someone here owned one for some first-hand knowledge/experience.

Charging a 24v auger battery is going to use a lot of the capacity of that jackery 240. The 24v charger is listed at 1A draw which is probably only while rapid charging the 1st 80% or so but that is still using a lot of the little juice you have. Charging devices direct off the USB or running a flasher directly from the jackery auto style plug would be pretty handy on a weekend trip.

I’m not a hvac guy but I think you need to flip your equation and account for efficiency.

    80000/.92/91500×5.5= 5.23

    Furnace rating/ efficiency/ btu of 1 gal x hours

Towing at max weight without exceeding max tongue weight, or gvwr usually takes a perfect setup. In ford’s towing guide it looks like a 150 lb driver, no passengers, no cargo, and 10% tongue weight depending on the trim level. Towing 3k will definitely be more flexible but you still could exceed the gvwr with 4 guys, gear, and 15% tongue weight. Maxing out the vehicle will likely not be a very comfortable ride so it depends on how you plan to use it.

Every time this comes up on a forum, 90% have it all together and debt free, yet the national average is like 80% have significant debt. I think the secret to being financially secure is to be a forum member on the internet.

Which transducer do you have? I sometimes have to change a few settings to lock on soft shallow bottom with the 83/200 transducer.

If this actually happens, I think it sets a bad precedent regardless of how you feel about this particular shot. What’s next, do we really want the federal executive branch making these types of mandates on their own in the future.

I’ve never had this happen with oil but I will be more vigilant now. Lately I have been buying the 12qt box wine mobil1 and I think it would be more difficult for someone to pass them off as unused. I have had a few issues getting boxes with the wrong item or garbage stuffed back in the box at Walmart. I also bought a vacuum sealer from cabelas last November that someone used the roll of included bags to package their meat and threw it back in the box covered in shmoo and returned it. The customer service lady was not surprised at all. I was out 40 miles of driving and and hour of my time, pretty disappointing, not with cabelas but with people.

The link epg posted is the old 48v ranger ev. It has been around for a while. The new one that comes out this fall won’t even be close to that price. I’m guessing it will be 25k+.

Do you think Tenacity will kill the grass that has the taller, wider blades shown in this photo? It’s started as a few small spots a few years ago but keeps spreading more and more each year. Is it Nutsedge? Last year I asked a salesman at Gertens and he said they didn’t have anything that would kill it without also killing the desirable lawn grass.

It looks like quackgrass to me. Google quackgrass identification then go look at where the leaf meets the stem. If it is quackgrass there’s no easy solution to get it out of cool season grass.
