Everything benefited. Squirrels, turkey, etc, etc. Certainly the most livable winter I have ever seen.

    And woodticks.
Going to be a bummer crop of them little bass turds.
    Already out in force.

I’m seeing reports that Atlanta will lose 1 or more picks in 2024 or 2025.
The Vikings could be awarded additional picks probably in 2024. More draft capital to move up!

When I took my Ranger in for routine service in February, the technician said there is now a 3 month waiting list for a new one. I don’t know if there’s any truth to that or not, but the lot was plum full of F150s and they had zero Rangers.

    Yeah, probably 2023 F150’s.
The 2024’s are just getting shipped out because of an issue they found and fixed b4 sending em out the door.
Now where are they going to put the 24’s with a lot full of 23’s?

When I asked for a decent discount on a ’23 since they are already a year old, depreciated about 18% and would depreciate another 10% as soon as I drove it off the lot, I got the deer in the head lights look. shock

And then the price went up because the Ford discount ended like April 2nd.
I thought for a 23 and lot chalked full of em, they would deal but nope.
I walked and started looking at the 2024 GMC Sierra 1500’s.

The belt maintinance is interesting on the babymax, take off the cab and remove the trans to get to it but that just seems to be the way things are today. Friend is on his 2nd one and he likes it but doesn’t keep them long enough to do the 100k maintinance.

That, I didn’t know. Granted not until 100k but still.
I know while looking at the GMC’s, they made a pile of em with the diesel.

MN is a no fault state. All insurance claims are first made to your own insurance. An increase in fees has nothing to do with the other driver. Your own knowledge of what your insurance covers and adjusts because of is all the information you will ever need.

This is not correct. The no fault part refers to injury claims only. MN is a comparative negligence state where your damages are reduced by your percent of fault. If you get rear ended the other parties insurance should take care of the vehicle damages. If your injured you make a claim to your insurance for the initial treatment and if severe enough you would also make a bodily injury claim against the other parties insurance.

    This.

Riverrat, it’s OK if you don’t know the law/rules but don’t say if you don’t.

    They let you go……..

What happens when you get pulled over and don’t have insurance?

A guy ran into the side of my FW’s car, obviously his fault.
She called Rochester city cops who came and agreed, it was the other guys fault 100%. Cop looks at his insurance info and it’s expired. So instead of writing him a ticket, so there’s a record of it, they let the guy go with just his license information.

We submit the claim to my insurance company and give them his expired information that turns out, they don’t have valid policy for that vehicle anymore so hey don’t acknowledge the claim. Called cop, who went to the guys house and after many calls back and forth, they said they couldn’t help us.

WTF!! You didn’t give the guy a ticket for expired insurance and know where he lives and you still can’t do anything? Like maybe arrest the guy for showing false insurance information!

My insurance covered it and said they would go after the guy which I never heard back anything.
Meanwhile, my insurance jumped 50% because she had an accident on her record!

So yeah, they do just let em go.

Find an Independent insurance broker that represents many companies.
I switch either my auto or home insurance every year.
I call him up and ask him to find me a better deal with the same coverage. I might need to slightly raise my deductible but try not to do that to get a better rate.
I don’t do any of the work of shopping around. That’s his job.

I have a set of off road tires and road tires for my sxs.
I swap them in and out all the time depending on where I’m going to ride.

Trading JJ would be asinine. What better situation would a rookie QB or even a guy like Darnold come into with weapons around him? Trading JJ (known quantity) to hopefully load up on picks and find a replacement is like going all in in poker with a pair of 2’s.

    X2
Unless JJ is requesting to be traded. He really wanted Kirko to stay and throw the balls to him. Part of the reason for his impressive stats in the last 4 years is because of Kirk.
If he’s traded, it’s because he asked for it. Same as Diggs a few years back.

    Another thing I don’t understand.

A Hybrid runs off batteries when not using the gas in the engine so why is the MPG the same on either on?
Shouldn’t a Hybrid have a LOT better mpg?

They cant give F150s away these days so if that is what he wants he shouldnt have a problem finding one.

I sure see a lot of them on the road so somebody’s buying them.

Is there something in your reply about Hybrids that I’m not following?

When was the last time giving up the house to move up to get a qb actually worked?

I say the keep the picks and draft best available at that pick.

I’d be ok with this too.

I do think Jim Harbaugh would love to draft JJ.
That leaves them with Hebert on the roster.
I’d love to see him traded to the Vikings for a decent price, maybe the 23rd pick but keep #11?. Not sure we can afford his contract though.

The only thing I’m confident in is the Vikings will somehow take a swing and miss by a mile.

I have no faith in Kwesi. Zero.

I hope I’m wrong or it’s gonna be a rough couple years for Viking fans…

    Sounds SWEET!

Couple questions if you don’t mind.

Did you consider the Leveling kit?
Which Tonneau cover? Did you consider a Diamondback?
    What model? XLT?

    No pics??!!
    C’mon man!
OK, I gotta have the specs.
    Very curious what you bought.

    Congrats on the new ride!

    I was looking today.
Dealer said 6 1/2’s can be found but easier in black or white colors.

    Why not leather seats?

Why Max Tow pkg over just the standard Tow pkg?

Saw 1 today with a leveling kit, 20″ Fuel rims, Nitto Tires, cat skin leather pkg. Ohhh did it look nice. I for sure want the leveling kit and better wheels and tires.
It had the 3.5 hybrid which I’d rather have the 3.5 eco.

If Cousins or Hunter signs a huge contract with another team what would our compensatory picks look like?

Most likely a 3rd round 2025 pick for each.

I don’t think they were awarded any for 2024.

I’d look into an F150 Max Tow package with the 3.5L and 6.5’ box and some 10 ply tires and never look back

What ply tires do new F150’s normally come with?
Are Air Bags needed or at least recommended if you are towing regularly?
For towing and equipped with the above, is the FX4 preferred?

    I have 75K on my 2015, F150 4X4, 3.5L, 5′ box.
It is a little light for some of the things I tow.

Looking to upgrade 1 more time before I retire.

JJ – You’ll have to help me on this one.
The purple baits to the left have zero colorant in the purple…. all glitter in a clear plastic.

What do mean “zero colorant in the Purple”? Isn’t it purple colorant?

If I remember right, I have a few in my arsenal that look just like those in the pics!

Fox was mangy but not the yote.
That’s like the 3rd fox this year with mange.

The Packers want Jones, just not at $17.5 million against the cap. There’s a 0% chance they bring him back at that number and that’s been obvious dating back to the start of the season.

    Just a question.
If you’re a RB knowing that in the 2nd or 3rd year of the contact, whatever year, a team won’t be paying you 17 million a year for a RB, why sign the contract?

I think a 36v unit will likely bring about $1200. Virtually ever warrior tiller is sold with one, and I doubt most of those guys will want to go without one when they start to fail.

I didn’t know that about the Warriors.
There’s other threads on here that discussed them and a lot of guys don’t like em.
    I’m 50/50 on them.
No spot lock for one thing.

When mine craps out, I’m not sure I’d replace it. On the other hand I don’t want to run to the front every time to drop a bow mount in.
And no, I won’t do the auto deploy bow mounts.

Well, MK quit making them so parts will become an issue if needed down the road.
    If you find a buyer.

You could start with $1k if it’s in very good shape and come down from there if needed.
Just sitting in your garage doesn’t cost you anything either.

Had a male Cardinal slam into the deck window earlier in a puff of red feathers.
He landed upside down on the deck but still breathing. 30 minutes later he was upright but obviously dazed.
Sat there for 2 hours and then flew off. Should have taken a pic dang it.
Bet he still has a headache though.

    Goose hunting in the 80’s.
We’d drive down from S. Mpls, go to the N. Star for a few (too many) then go sleep in the P.U. at the state goose blinds.
Shot some Monster Honkers back in the day.
That 4 buck had some reach out and touch em capabilities.

Jezuz EPG. I wonder how many times our paths crossed. Er maybe I don’t want to know? wave 80’s we were in the same bars and goose blinds. Leave 1 car at the blind and head to the North Star in the other. Shot a lotta pool there. Not to mention every other bar.
4 buck was a hot load back then.

You know I’m always up for beer and BS.

With good cooks like you and Cole, why not have it outdoors?
I’m sure we could use the ZF Sportsmans Park in the Pavillion and grill up some mighty fine grub.

Between hearing loss and they ringing, anything inside sucks for me. I do have a hearing test in a couple days so hoping the Doc can fix me up.
