Take it right to the guy who sold it to you and demand a new unit.
A few more from early goose to middle of season. Mostly just my brother and me. On occasion we get our buddy to come with too.
Early ice it was 1/16 slender spoons, now it’s switched to majmun and cheki jigs (spelling?) with a plastic tail. Mustache worms cj&s finess plastics and b-y baits have all produced.
My black betty 6061 comes out the top. And my black betty straight reel (no gear reduction) comes out the bottom.
Not sure about the rest of you but I can feel 80% of all the bites I get with the noodle split grip. It ain’t much but it is there.
I have a black betty 6061 on my 30″ percision noodle split grip and it took a little while to get used to but the spinning of my jigs with the inline is so much less than with aspinning reel I won’t go back (for panfish). I have always used berkleys 3lb fireline ice fused line for all my panfishing set ups. Stuff works well in a shack. Seems to build ice more than I would like but it does come off easy. Just my $.02
Go with the percision noodle you will not regret it. I have a 30″ and love it for crappies.
An LX-7 has the capability to never be old and or outdated. Can you say that about an FLX-28??
What about the trigger x shelf? They should have mustache worms.
The episode was great! The depth and way of catching these fish are very similar to a lot of lakes this time of year. I to have been finding that jigging two to three feet about these fish has been producing day in and day out!! Keep up the great shows.
The circle on my lx6 doesn’t hum and grind and hiss at me when I’m trying to fish.
30″ percision noodle from TUCR’s with a Black Betty 6061. Probably could use a 32″ with my new otter lodge. No cons what so ever with the noodle. The reel is not worth 100 bucks, but it works.
My brother has the exact setup you got. He likes it. He has come to find out that bigger jigs are needed to feel light crappie bites because the lighter jigs do not load the tip very well. Other than that it’s a great rod and reel. The reel could be a little tighter if that makes sence.
The sensativity change is kind of a big deal. It is the main reason I’m not updating mine.

Send them the pic, I had pin holes in my otter from where the stitching was and light was coming in. I took a pic from the inside with it bright outside so it showed up real good, the lady sent me a new tent to replace the one I had. No problems. Her name was Jessica
So the pin holes from the stitching isn’t normal?!? Great!
Looks like American hands putting that deal togather and through all the tests to me!!
Well if anyone that has the 4.07 and has said to themselves “now this is why I love marcum” please post whore it up!!
As long as they don’t use Chinese metal I could care less where it was assembled/made. Chinese metals are way more porouse (spelling?) than anywhere else.
