Any broadhead will get the job done, just make sure it is sharp and your bow is tuned to the broadheads you decide to use. Its all about shot placement.

X2 on buying one, they look like the cat’s meow. Now has anybody had experience with the heater body suit vs the Warmbag? I have heard good things about both.

I have the Warm Bag and love it. The reason I went with the Warm Bag over the HBS is because you can shoot your bow without taking the suit off. I know it’s not a big deal but personally, thinking of less movement. On the other hand, I think the HBS has more insulation and would be warmer but I have not had any issues getting cold in my WB yet. These bags are the bomb, can’t go wrong with either one.

Are you fellas with the muck boots able to tuck your hunting pants into them? They look a little tight in the calf.

I don’t tuck my pants into the boot.

I can’t decide what sight to go with. It will be either

    G5

    OR

    Black Gold

I like where the tape is located on the Black Gold vs. the G5. However I like the fixed 3 pins. Also going to put a Rip Cord drop away rest on it.

    Any thoughts?

I’ve used both sights, you can’t go wrong with either one. Both Great companies to deal with. Same goes with the Ripcord.

If I gun hunted, it would be run and gun but seeing I only bowhunt, it’s sit and wait I have had some luck with a “modified” run and gun with a bow. Locate birds and guess were they are going and try get ahead of them and set up and sit and wait…..

I could care less if someone shot an albino/piebald as long as it’s legal. Myself, I would let it walk , just doesnt do anything for me…

I’m with PowerFred on this one.

My boy was having some issues many years ago. I brought him in and ended up putting him down. When they asked if I wanted to stay in the room when they gave him the shot, I couldnt do it and left before it was done. To this day I regret not staying. Either way, it sucks big time!

if I drop a buck off in November, I will have it back in about 3 months… what’s with these guys that take a year ???

Not knowing who this taxidermist is and if I didnt know you Big G, this would be a big red flag for me.

#1 If he is getting mounts done in 3 months, he probably is not getting very much work. Why is that?

#2 Is it 3 months for everyone or is he show preference to certain customers???

Just a couple questions that popped into my mind…..
