Clearly not a waste to him if he enjoys them!

If your traveling is limited and need to stay in town, try the cascade lakes for bass or silver lake for bass/crappie/perch. Ive had success on most any plastics and raps.

Technically didnt draft Love so he doesnt even count. Outside of Garnett, the best players they actually drafted were Brandon Roy and Ray Allen… both were traded on draft night. I dont get your rub on Kevin Love though. He is easily one of the best players in the league, and so what if he doesnt do anything outside of the basketball court? People point fingers for no reason at all. If I were him, I would bolt out of here 100 times out of 100 too. But you are right, the wolves are somewhat of an embarrassment to the NBA

If it is anything like lake Clitoros I find that it is essential to find the “spot on the spot”. Move around slowly until you see something happen, then keep working that area. Eventually you should see a small explosion of action and if you are really good you might see 5-6 flurries afterward. Remember to go slow and methodical…
    Just my experience….

Man, you guys are crazy! Im a Packer fan, and I thought Barr was a great pick by the vikings. This guy has been a RB all his life, just started playing OLB/DE 2 years ago. Incredible athlete with everything to learn yet. Zimmer said he sees a lot of Jason Taylor in him.

And Dave, where did you see he was a 3rd round talent? He was a lock to get drafted before the 18th pick.

If Im the vikings im trading back into the 15-20 range to take Bridgewater or Bortles. From what I have seen, both Bridgewater and Bortles would be a stretch at 8. They’ve got several needs so stock piling some picks while taking a solid QB a little later in the draft is the right thing to do.

If you havent given the 4 inch gulp minnow a try, I would let those in on your experiment. Ive never texas rigged them, but it is defiantly my favorite plastic bait ive ever used. Ive caught several walleyes, bass, and northerns from shore using it with a jig. Im going to gull lake and the turtle flambeau flowage in the next few weeks and I plan on using these minnows the majority of the time.

Just from my personal (and short) history of fishing lake pepin, the bite doesnt pick up until after the second week of May. I have my best days in lake city in the last 2 weeks of May and first few weeks of June. That has just been the last two years, could definitely be different on any given year. Goodluck!

My dad bought a much smaller 30 horse Evinrude Etec new in 2012. It ran great for a few days, but for some reason the motor would overheat and change to another mode where its max speed severely decreased. He took it to a few different small engine shops and even when they said they fixed it, the problem kept repeating. He eventually gave up with it and bought a new boat/motor. Sorry to be “that guy”, just trying to help.

I went to Upper Red Lake last winter through Portavilla. Really cheap, pretty good service (not spectacular by any means), and caught a lot of fish. Plenty of walleye, some perch, and a few northerns in 3 days.

Pominville was the guy that got us through that rough stretch with out Parise and Koivu right before the olympic break. But man, has he sure disappeared. It didnt seem like he even got that many shots off towards the net, did the move back to the second line hurt him?

Any of the cascade lakes have some nice bass in them. Fished them from shore along the bike paths several times and i have had some pretty fun afternoons.

you couldnt see a hold? Im sorry but are you at a loss of vision? Coyle had an open net, youd think he would have atleast attempted to fling a shot in the nets direction if he was able too

Is there a difference between a daily bag limit and a possession limit for the walleyes up there?

I got it for $90 at 4 seasons in Red wing. Comes with a life long warranty too. Ive got a Pflueger President for a reel on it and I wouldnt trade that combo for anything.

I just bought the 6’9 smoothie from Limit Creek company and I absolutely love it. So far this spring ive caught a 9 pound eye on it and several little trout. Very versatile and handles everything I’ve tried thus far perfectly!
