Accurist 100 is an all around great reel and comes in a LH model if needed.
If walleye are your favored species, this reel is great for DQ rigging. Cabela’s current promo is spend $150, get $20 off.

    $99.99 price point

Though I run a chip, supply limitations steered me to purchase the Insight option on 2 of my units.

So far it has been worth the extra money. It provided details on the last lake I fished that the chip did not cover very well.

Also a blessing if you forget your chip or it goes bad.

My general rule of thumb. Always have one unit with the pre-loaded maps. It’ll get you by until you decide which chip/s you will primarily need to purchase.

Great!!! Thanks! Now that’s narrowed down.

Any idea where a guy can get their hands on one?

I can only find the MKR-US2-10.

Many valid points and all work great.

Pro/Am format most Boaters, myself included, seldom accept money towards fuel. More often than not it’s the gesture of their offer that is reward enough. Any Boater that says otherwise isn’t there for the right reason.

If I fish as the Co-angler I try to cover half the cost of the day. Running your own rig makes this math fairly easy to comprehend. Unless it’s a friend; I never ask how much or hand it to them before the start/end of the day. This is where the decline of your offer occurs. I always know I’m the second to last person in the boater’s truck. I either lay a flat $30-$60, dependent on usage, on their center console or I tuck it in the visor when I help trailer the rig. Visible but not blatantly obvious.

It’s worked so far and haven’t heard any complaints. Having been on both sides of this exchange it’s seemingly flawless.

    Erick,

    It’s…

    Menu
    My Trails-Enter
    New trail-Enter
then arrow down and press ENTER to select the things you want to change.
i.e name of trail, trail color, type of trail pattern.

Use your arrows again to scroll choices and letters, Press ENTER, then exit out 3 times.

Be sure it’s the active trail when you want/decide to use it.

The Isaak walton Club is the small shelter located right next to the ramp at Bay Point Park.

In the past trailering was allowed. Once the tournament officially started you had the option to trailer your boat to another launch of your choice. Some guys towed/trailered their boat to Wasbasha or Lake City versus motoring down via water if they were on a good bite. Looks like that has changed.

You should really invest your money into a couple snap weight sets if your seriously considering pulling spinners. It will give you the flexibility to quickly change depth allowing you to cover the full water column.

If your planning to work GB this should indicate the use of planar boards. 2 guys in a boat means 3 lines out on each side (unless the regs changed)

If you’d like some more details post your questions here or PM me.

June is a great time and your location is perfect.

Kountry Kabins and Kampgrounds is a great place to stay and reasonably priced with all the amenities you’d need.

You have access to 4 nice launches all within a 5-20 minute drive. Just remember to play the wind….

If you have any other questions feel free to PM me.

    Thanks Jason………..

You just helped increase my intended purchase amount by 300%. Those all look good too.

Specifically was looking for the full line of Evert’s Resort limited ringworm colors available. Didn’t see it on your link but for the life of me cannot recall the name.

Just thinking about taking up trolling this year. They look like they’d work out great! See ya this weekend when I come to check them out.

Lemme see, 6fow, leadcore, 1.5 mph. 12 feet in the water and 14 feet laying on the rod????

    Might just work….

The Terrova is cross breed of PD featuires with a “Maxxum type” foot pedal controller but cable free. Have been considering the new Terrovas but think I will end up just increasing my PD to a 101 instead since I am so use to it. The Terrova foot pedal, IMO, too closely resembles the maxuum set-up and haven’t got myself to use one enough.

Congrats Brett and Kerry! Nice weight.

Thanks for running this event Nate. You had a good turn out and the CTC helps me know when the tournament season is officially done for the year.

The weather is not cooperating, it’s going to take a team that can pull it off. I will put my odds on team Moenck 20.7 pounds.

Have a 04 200hp on my 04 and has never let me down once for perfomance or reliability. It has been flawless for the last 32 months, dead of winter/heat of summer.

Only thing I have done is your standard lube/filter changes, plugs, and winterizing. Had two recalls on an ECM module. Took longer to take the cowl off than to unplug and replug in the update. Fairly minor hassle for the many days it has supported me on the water.

Wouldn’t hesitate to get another one. Quiet, smooth, responsive, fairly fuel efficient running less than 4500. Open her up and you get the horses for top end speed as long as you don’t mind paying the tab, just like any other at full throttle.

They all make good stuff. If it was a matter of opinion from our friends we would all own one of each truck/boat/motor combination. Heard horror stories from all the manufacturers products but those are the flukes versus the norm.

Speaking from experience my 200 Suzuki 4-stroke has been flawless. Parts are sometimes slow to get if you get any major damage from something like a submerged marker bouy Would love to have the 250 Suzuki on my next boat but will be just as happy with the Yahama 4-stroke, unless they start paying out like the rest of them.

Thanks for everyone’s support. Our first time on this body of water and I know it won’t be our last. This fishery is amazing and the future potential looks very promising.

Note to anyone planning to head out to Green Bay, bring your raingear along. Even if no rain is forecasted. The wind can turn your trip into a wet one…..

I am having the same exact problem. Thanks for posting it first.

Contacted my dealer. He suggested I trim the motor all the way up and check the oil level. There is a plug on top of the reservoir. Oil is suppose to be up to the threads. Still need to verify the oil, but he mentioned Dexron III would be fine. I will keep an eye on this post, maybe we’ll find a better answer.

Luke, what type of rig will you be fishing out of? Nate and I will be down there Friday night. If you see a 192 Tournament with a 200 Suzuki swing by. Will be nice to see another fellow IDA’er down there.

Go with the line counters for the difference you save without it is not worth the hassle. Pending your leader remains the same and never decreases in length it still makes a difference when you have fine tuned the exact amount you need to pop those fish. It also makes it easier to tell others how many feet then most of this color or two and a half colors. Each persons perception of almost all and half of this is never the same. As long as you have them all zeroed in before the day starts the lure will position the same on each set up. A numeric value is also easier to write down and quantify for future reference. Just don’t forget to jot down the crank used and speed current and or gps.

Sounds like the FYB is going to be the perfect name for this weekend’s tournament. Snow and and more snow is expected. Thank goodness it isn’t going to be windy Hopefully I don’t hurt my hook setting arms with all the shoveling coming up the next couple of days.

See all you anglers in a few days………..Richard

Is the FYB still scheduled as planned? Boat and truck are ready with a cleared path to the street. I might even start heading out to Evert’s today so I can make it there by Saturday………….

See all of you this weekend
