Thanks for watching guys! You can definitely learn from a camera how the fish react to different situations.

Lakemaster chips don’t work in the Archie 9. Only Navionics.

The dolly made by Prospector, could be modified to allow one to adjust the amount of weight transferred to the four-wheeler. Rather than weld the ball mount in place, make it slide and pinned in place. Position of where it is pinned would control the the amount of weight on the four-wheeler.

Sorry the picture is not better. The stinger is not welded and can be moved back closer to the fulcrum. Dave, you are exactly right on the idea.

I hold my pilot down for exactly 47 seconds and she lights every time. Good idea on the purge.

I wish it would power my Marcum yay

Or otter led’s. I bought a USB to alligator clips but it did not work. Any ideas?

USB is 5 volts and Otter needs 12.

Eskimo will send you a new seat swivel base for free. They are aware of the problem on the initial sleds they sold. I too have an EVO1 but rarely use it. Perfect for day trips on foot on new ice. Love the room once setup is done. I take a couple rods, drill auger, fish finder and am good to go. Little buddy when needed as well. Not a problem dragging it by hand while the tent is up either. Fits great in most compact cars. If they come out with a fully insulated EVO2, I will get it as well. All in all a great tent in my opinion.

I built one a few years ago. I made it from an old trailer and it works great. My design has about 60 pounds on the four wheeler. I would never use it on a boat ramp. I back it on the ice with my truck, unhook and use the wheeler from there.

Had a Coyote come up within ten feet of me last year. Even after yelling, it was slow to walk away. Thought it may have had rabies or something like that. Happened in the dark of night. The one that really got me was a Raccoon that climbed up in the bed of my truck and almost opened a door by the wheel well in my camper. Scared me good! He ended up getting hit with a spud bar and getting run over by my truck. He refused to leave! My fears were compounded by watching The Walking Dead while this all went down. I have packed ever since.

On my wishlist. Marcum transducers need to be spliced to work. They will do it for free if you send it to them.

Try it out before you spend money on a different battery. I don’t use the fan much anymore, never noticed that it does any good. A fan at the top of the tent does a better job in my opinion.

Good to hear. I picked it up for around $70 on clearance. It only has a few lakes that I am interested in, but I think even those will be worth it. I love the fact that you can use it for icefishing and open water. Thanks for your reply.

I kicked my lx7 across the ice one day when it crashed with blue vertical lines all over the screen. Drove 500 miles for a week long trip. When my tools let me down, I get a little ticked. I buy quality and expect it to do the job. Marcum fixed it and upgraded it to an lx9. Luckily I have several fish finders and made it work. Fishing for lake trout in 80’ with most coming off of bottom, but many coming through at different depths is a blast with electronics. Can I fish without a flasher and have success? Yes, I choose to fish like this in many situations and enjoy it very much. However, when I want to fish with them, they better work.

Auto chart maps work as well. Might make a map and give that a try.

Just an update on my Fishhouse. I had a ball this winter fishing out of it. Made a dolly to pull it behind my four wheeler and have been tweaking it out since I bought it. Wishing Ice fishing seasons were longer here in Wyoming! Does anyone else on here own an ice seeker? See you on the ice!

Once again, Marcum was great with their customer service today. Put My LX nine in the mail this afternoon and they were great to deal with on the phone.

My LX nine just did this same thing on a nine day trip. Luckily I had plenty of other fish finders in my arsenal to get me on the fish. The glitches on this product have really soured me on Marcum units. If it were not for their superior target separation, interference rejection and graph mode I would throw it in the trash. My Humminbird is actually a better unit but sucks around other fishfinders.

I bought a generation one pro four and jiffy was worthless with their customer service. I will not be purchasing a jiffy in my life again. Hate to be negative, I really do like the drill and still own it. But I have had nothing but trouble with my propane leaking both through the carburetor and the hoses. I spend a lot of money every year on ice fishing gear. Jiffy could have had a good representative of their product in me as a fisherman on the ice. They chose to save a dime and stepped over many dollars this time. If I did that in my own personal business, I would have been out of business long ago. Very shameful in my opinion. Good luck to all you guys who have one. The new design does look good and hopefully will work well for you. Take care, prospector
