    On my wishlist. Marcum transducers need to be spliced to work. They will do it for free if you send it to them.

    I saw that JM video, too – it’s a pretty cool idea/product but would also agree that $180 is too rich for my tastes.

    It would seem more useful for an underwater camera cable then a flasher’s transducer cable. I put a lot more cable out for my camera than I do for my flasher. Even then, I don’t see why an electric retrieve is necessary.

    That being said, I’ve somehow convinced myself that necessary is so much more that a bucket, rod and hand auger.

    Won’t this just freeze up and make it so you can’t get your transducer in or out? At least outside?
