Has anyone seen this yet? Great idea. I just saw this on Jason Mitchell this morning.

On my wishlist. Marcum transducers need to be spliced to work. They will do it for free if you send it to them.

November 6, 2017 at 6:51 am #1725691But do they warranty their work with the splice, that is the big question?
zooksPosts: 912November 6, 2017 at 11:07 am #1725779I saw that JM video, too – it’s a pretty cool idea/product but would also agree that $180 is too rich for my tastes.

Great point.
November 6, 2017 at 12:22 pm #1725812It would seem more useful for an underwater camera cable then a flasher’s transducer cable. I put a lot more cable out for my camera than I do for my flasher. Even then, I don’t see why an electric retrieve is necessary.
That being said, I’ve somehow convinced myself that necessary is so much more that a bucket, rod and hand auger.
November 6, 2017 at 12:27 pm #1725813Won’t this just freeze up and make it so you can’t get your transducer in or out? At least outside?
