I have a USB charger that snaps on my Makita 18vLithium ion batteries. Just wanted to let you guys know this is available, it is very handy for charging phones etc out on the ice.

I have a USB charger that snaps on my Makita 18vLithium ion batteries. Just wanted to let you guys know this is available, it is very handy for charging phones etc out on the ice.
I got one recently too. Figured it could power a cellphone or charge a device.
I wish it would power my Marcum
Or otter led’s. I bought a USB to alligator clips but it did not work. Any ideas?

Did you have the polarity hooked up correctly? LEDs won’t work if the polarity is reversed.

USB is 5 volts and Otter needs 12.
Nice for having Makita batteries already.
I generally swap all my batteries out to 12ah. So I just buy a $5.00 female plug and replace clamps with “Y” blades. That was I can keep a power source on the battery for other devices. Pretty much everyone already has a car adapter for their truck. I just plug mine in and good to go for days
