I towed an 16 foot enclosed trailer loaded half full for a 150 mile round trip. I got 15.6 mpg I only have 1500 miles on it so far I also towed the same trailer on a 500 mile trip, mostly free way driving at 65 miles an hour this last Saturday I went into a 15 to 25 mile an hour head wind going down to and on the return trip the wind switched to the opposite direction. We averaged 13.3 mpg I have a new Ranger 620Fs ordered that I will pick up this week I will post mpg after I get it I had a 2016 Ram Ecodiesel and I averaged 14.3 mpg towing the boat to Canada and back This was a 800 mile trip with 4 people and all the gear in the truck I weighed the boat when we left and it weighed 5950 lbs loaded. This was a 2011 Ranger 620fs I have the 3.92 rear end in the 2020 and it handles towing much better then my 2016 with the 3.21

I just talked our police chief about the quarantine. If you are on the road in Barron county starting at 8 am tomorrow morning the police can stop you and ask you where you are going to and coming from. Wisconsin is in a shelter in place order starting at the same time. I asked our police chief if you have a Doctors appointment in MN can you come back with no problems. He said as long as you have an appointment that can be verified, you will have no problem. There is no travel in Wi unless going to Dr.,or grocery store, or other approved venues.

I don’t know. I have a call into our local police to find out more info, but have not received anything back. He is the person who informed me of the quarantine so I could tell some of my friends coming back from the south.

My friend goes to the Keys each year. He went in December this year and the price was half of what he paid when he went in February. I will do some more research and get back to you with more info after I talk to him on Wednesday

We are in the process of moving to Verona, WI and have been going through old financial records. In 1979 we built our house and the total for new house, furniture, etc was $73,900. WE hadn’t planned on moving and I had ordered a new Ranger 620FS cup series from the Boat Center in Eau Claire, Wi.. The Ranger boat listed for more than what we bought the house for 40 years ago The house has tripled in value I don’t know about how much boats have gone up in price since then, but I’m sure its a large jump also.

Going to The Boat Center tomorrow and finalize my plans with Sean on my new Ranger 620fs. Great people to work with and from everything I have heard on line from the people on this site I am in good hands. Thanks again to Sean and The Boat Center

Thanks guys She said this is my last Ranger. I am 68 and back in good health again after having heart by pass surgery in August. I followed a good diet and exercise regime and am in better shape than I was 10 years ago. Cant wait for the new boat.

My wife and I attended this great event. Talked to Sean at The Boat Center and was not going to purchase a new Ranger 620fs until next year. Guess the chief financial officer (wife) was impressed by Sean and the Ranger 620fs that she said go ahead and order one. Just working out the details and the trade in value.

I believe the freezing point of DEF is 12 degrees F There are no additives as far as I know to add to it. I was at Lake of the Woods with temp at minus 30 and it never froze on me. I ran my diesel at 10 pm and started it when I got up at 7 am and had no problems. Various vehicles have heaters that keep it warm for a certain time period.

I have both c-map insight hd and Navionic chips for my Lowrance. The c map is a lot better on the lakes I fish. The Navionic chip actually shows me on land in some places when I am the water. I have made maps with my Carbon and have downloaded several maps of lakes I fish that other people have made and uploaded to c-map Genisis social maps. Both these chips are compatible with your Gen 2. If you decide to go with c-maps I have a new (never opened) c-map Lake Insight HD for the central region I would sell for $100 New they list for $169

I live on the Barron Polk county line and was out on Upper Turtle Lake in Barron county yesterday. I have a Ram 1/2 ton with air suspension and went off the trail with no problem. There also was a chev 1/2 ton on the other side of the lake that also was driving off the trail with no problem The snow depth was anywhere from 16 inches to 24 inches, but it was light enough to go through it with out getting stuck.

I have a 2016 Ram with the air suspension and have had zero problems with it, even when it was minus 30 degrees for 2 days last week. I use the air suspension everyday to lower it so it is easier for my short wife to get in and out of. I will buy another Ram when the time comes.

I have quite a few of them I bought about 8n years ago. I think they are called concave angle jigs. I have a catalog somewhere that I still might have. They were made in Minnesota. I tried to google them, but cant find anything.

Last year I was out ice fishing when a dark colored pickup went by me and drove close to shore. I thought there was an unattended tip up they were looking at. The 2 men got out of the truck ( DNR wardens) and were looking at it. Curiosity got the better of me and I went over to investigate. There were 2 bags of garbage buried in the snow. They opened it up and the idiot that threw them out had left a letter addressed to himself in there. Not only was the guy fined, they also made him come back out and Chesil the 2 bags out. Karma was served,

x2 on the TWP stain. I get it in the 5 gallon bucket and I stain every 3 years on the deck. The horizontal railing etc I only do every 5 years. I have cedar decking. The most important thing is to get the deck clean before applying any stain.
