I guess we can skip the WI-MN trash talk this year. frown Although could just say the Slogan Machine knew they would lose by 4TDs so they cancelled. devil

The Big 10 did say each team will get an additional game during ‘championship week’. I wonder if there is a chance they could reschedule this game?

I’ve heard ‘rumors’ that some of the launch captains are purposely killing bass so I don’t see resorts evolving too much.

Normally we have several gatherings over several days, but Thursday is usually just me and my wife and we get Thanksgiving dinner for two from Hy-Vee. This year we are skipping all the other gatherings. I’m sure I will fire of the smoker to replace those other meals.

I think Ferentz was annoyed that the slogan machine still had the starters in the game and called a timeout to try to score.

A bit more back on topic:

There are currently 61,694 COVID-19 patients in U.S. hospitals, according to the COVID Tracking Project, surpassing the previous record of 59,940 hit on April 15, when the Northeast was the U.S. epicenter. That’s a 40% increase over the number just two weeks ago.

Seventeen states are at their current peaks for hospitalizations today, according to the COVID Tracking Project.

Hospitals are already on the brink of being overwhelmed in Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, North Dakota, Texas, Utah, and Wisconsin. Officials in many other states are warning that their health-care systems will be dangerously stressed if cases continue to rise.

North Dakota’s Gov. Doug Burnum said the state is now at full capacity and health-care workers who test positive but show no symptoms are being allowed to care for COVID patients

Is that same White House Press Secretary that Fox News cut away from for lying about fraud?

Maybe it’s the same fox news that cut away before she could present her evidence.

Or they already know the truth since they are trump’s personal channel.

I guess we will find out since Rudy says these shocking affidavits will be published today. I bet it goes right along with all their other allegations with no actual proof.

Osterholm says the US is going into covid hell for the next few months and hospitals are going to be overrun, which seems like we are starting to see. Hopefully the MN lockdown is more ‘surgical’ like what is being reported, but obviously sucks for anybody personally affected by the lockdowns.

For everybody saying ICU beds are always full is that because you work in the health care industry or just saying they are always full so hospitals make money? Just curious because the best I could find on the google machine is ICU beds utilization rates average about 68% in the US. But it seems like it is the 20% for one specific issue that is the concern, and I assume the length of stay?

From an ICU nurse at Regions Hospital yesterday.
“We are 95% full (not all covid) in the ICU. Still doing elective surgery.”

From a few days ago. Looks like 20% are covid cases.
    ICU beds

I thought I read WI is at 88% full ICU.

    Please define main stream media.

    Fox news ? devil

MSM / fake news = any news source they don’t agree with.

Back when the story came out about trump calling all of you military guys suckers and losers and it was partially confirmed by Fox(granted later they tried to deny it because it angered trump), instead of people thinking maybe trump is a pos, I heard ‘Well Fox has been leaning left a lot more’.

So what happens now with the Rona? So many said it would go away on 11/4. I believe it is still here.

If Biden wins, does it go away the day he is declared the winner, or is it after the inauguration?

If trump wins, does the media keep the charade up to dog his 2nd term, or do they give up and let everything go back to normal?

Not a Bernie fan but he predicted how it was going to go. Pre-covid the only way I would have voted trump would have been against Bernie. Of course my opinion chanced once covid came and trump proved he is totally inept at handling a crises and went full Authoritarianism.

Anyway, about 3:30 he explains exactly what happened.

Another quick point of who will always be the best candidate to vote for President…it’s real, real easy.

Who does the main stream media want to win? They are evil so vote the opposite.

Who does China want to win our election? Vote the opposite.

    Pretty damn simple people.

    brainwashed much?

    Sad, really.

Funny how Wisconsin had more votes than Voters. Trump ahead in Pa. Then at 4 am !80,000 votes come in for Biden. Also would not let Republicans see the ballot counting.
Polling places with Biden signs and face masks. Finding Trump Ballots in dumpsters.
    Yeah the kooks!

Thank you for proving my point…

Seems to be going down the path of what many ‘experts’ said. trump screamed about (non-existent) voter fraud which raises doubts in those conspiracy theorist types, election is close, trump claims he wins, as expected the mail-in votes are mostly Biden, trump screams voter fraud, and finally lawsuits to stop the counting.

Lol the experts and polls said Biden was up big and would win easily, regardless of who wins and loses that’s obviously not the case. There are legitimate concerns about voter fraud, not sure how a 138k Biden vote to 0 Trump vote jump over night would be considered not likely fraudulent. Same as in Wisconsin where they jumped up and over came a 4+ point Trump lead all at once (did you miss this link?). Personally I think the integrity of the election is more important than who wins, so lets count all the legitimate votes and whoever wins so be it.

    https://thefederalist.com/2020/11/04/yes-democrats-are-trying-to-steal-the-election-in-michigan-wisconsin-and-pennsylvania/

Sure, there were plenty who said Biden would win big, but there were others who also said it was going to happen as I said. I guess I shouldn’t have said ‘many experts’. Why would trump have to scream about all the cheating with vote in mailing if they were not expecting it to come down to counting those votes?

I think you got your info on the article.

I hope most would want a legit election. Unfortunately the president is not one of them.

I was really getting sick of the ads on TV, the mail solicitation, and the annoying texts I was getting on my mobile phone almost every day.

I didn’t really get any flyers until after I had already voted. That was really annoying.

Some of the local commercials were kind of funny the first time you see them, like the two women sitting on the couch drinking wine talking about the riots or Jason Lewis shooting a gun. But after that I would mute the tv until whatever I was watching came back on.

I went by my voting station about an hour ago and the line was long but everybody was spaced out so not sure if was actually any more people than normal. Saw in the parking lot a couple of those rusted out meat head trucks flying the make liberals cry again flags, which always gives me a good chuckle.

One candidate made a long career full of political corruption.

The other candidate made a career from being a celebrity. A lot of people think he was an immoral, crooked celebrity and that’s where their personal feelings of hatred stems from.

They hated him long before he made 1 political decision and long before the tool of covid was introduced.

Trump left his crooked celebrity position to expose political corruption that effects the entire general population of this country.

We have all known for our entire lives of how much hidden corruption goes on and have begged for it to be exposed.

Trump is the best candidate for the job.

One last day for people to realize the trumpican party is pure evil. Especially the candidate for President. If Biden hurts your feelings that much don’t vote for him. Just don’t vote for the fascism.

They sell a sh^load of Chinese products and they have an aggressive business model that historically undercuts local businesses. Anyone who subscribes to the “america first” model shouldn’t be a Walmart fan.

Maybe it has changed but years ago when I was in grad school the President of local Twin Cities company came in and explained that Walmart’s policy was if the price of the US product was within X% of a foreign product then they would stock the US made product. It may have been a bit of an anti-union speech because he said they are able to keep the prices low enough for walmart because they have been able to keep the unions out. grin
