heat could be either water pump or thermostat issues ,I know the bigger mercs have a stat on both sides of head they can fail or plug up with sand and makes for a hot running engine.

Most B.A.S.S. Tournaments follow bass rules I think under bassmaster.com you can find a list of rules or FLW too, this would be a good base set of rules to start with some groups have a special rule or two but I would think only a call to them to clarify would be in order.

If you put the 70hp on you are liable for any accidents and makes the boat illegal

It is different than the ones we used as kid on the farm, I’m 66 now , you put it in a caw or calf’s nose and when they try to nurse on an other cow the points stick the udder the pokeee won’t let the one suck on her and stops nursing

Well I’m 6’4″ 350lb and my son always says I make a fish look little ,It’s over 40″ no added 10″ it was 4 hands and a little finger short of 5 hands with a 15lb scale we were no where ready for that big a fish but like I told my son it’s a lot of fun to catch any kind of big fish when it happens This was a special trip as I am scheduled for a triple bypass March 1st. So till I get in a boat in a few months good fishing to all!

On my 1 ton duramax work van we run 15,000 between changes I change filter and grease job at 7,500 ,I’ve ran AMSOIL for most of the miles,I think we started at about 50,000 ,I’ll have 300,000 shortly no oil consumption, just other issues the ground cable rotted off and it wouldn’t start 3 days ago

Ya boron had a very short run it was real brittle and the rods weren’t very durable, I’d save it for a memory and not use it
