Does not look good as Kansas City and Cleveland keep winning. Hopefully they can turn it around but everytime we get something going another player gets injured.
if the Vikings are letting people know what Jefferson turned down last year, he is going to be traded. It’s only a matter of time.
first half didnt look good, but the second half they were dominate. Are defense shut them down only gave up 42 in the second half.
How can Edmonton be a favorite to come out of the west with there goaltending issues? I know its one game but to give up 8 in Vancouver.
It was a good year, we have a future with our young players, and hopefully this experience and the taste of the playoffs will drive them to better things in the next couple of years. It will be interesting to see who stays and who leaves for next year.
Correa and Lewis in the starting line up today, but no Buxton!!!
Jeremy you are exactly right, we should not be worrying who we are playing in the wild card round, we should have a bye. Rocco is the issue, and it is going ot be interesting to see how long he will let our starting pitchers go in the playoffs. This team has a chance as we can pitch, unlike our last few futile playoff attempts.
Exactly, that game was Sonny’s, the bullpen should of been a rest day.
Sonny pulled after 81 pitches, The starters will never get a chance to pitch long into games as Rocco needs to get his daily 5 relief pitchers in. This was a game that Sonny could of went the distance and get him ready for the playoffs and longer outings.
NCAAF Strength-of-Schedule Rankings
South Carolina has the toughest strength of schedule in the nation this year, and the top six are all from the SEC
No Group of Five team has a schedule tougher than 25th (Houston Cougars)
The 2023 college football season is set to begin with Week Zero on Saturday, August 26. The charts and graphs below set out the strength-of-schedule rankings for the season.
Even more so than strength of schedule calculations in the NFL, SOS in college football should not be based too heavily on last season’s power ratings. There is far too much roster turnover from year to year. The calculations and rankings below factor in opponents’ efficiency ratings from last season plus how much production teams are losing, recent recruiting rankings, and major incoming transfers.
Use the rankings below in conjunction with the NCAAF win totals to find soft spots in the underbelly of the college football futures.

the Twins bullpen this month has not been good. I think Rocco has started to wear them down.
Ober must of hit his limit. 78 pitches. Maybe he is getting him ready to pitch a couple of innings in the playoffs.
one of them may have to play first as Solano and Kiriloff are hurt and Gallo is not doing anything to keep himself in the lineup. I would say Lewis would really help our lineup especially against lefties, but he seems to not be able to stay of the Dl either.
another Twin to the disabled list,Joe Ryan. Called up Dallas Kuechel. I thought they got all new training department, may need to look at another new change next year.
I just about fell off my chair when Rocco pinch hit Solano for Gallo against a righty, the announcers were saying he maybe is going for contact. That goes against everything this team is been built for hitting the last couple of years. Lo and behold he got a hit to score two runs and those were the winning runs! We needed another 2 bullpen arms and one of them needed to be a lefty. We also needed a right handed bat preferrably an outfielder. When we are i nthe playoffs against a good starter we may strike out 20 times.
Buxton is killing us. 0 for 5 last night with 3 k’s and batting .196 Are starters have not looked good in there first starts after the all star break.
I can’t watch anymore press conferences of Rocco. Sonny was struggling but his pitch count was only 79 pitches. on the radio they were talking about they have 16 games straight and they will need to get the most out of Sonny tonight so the bullpen does not dry up. Nope Rocco says I will use them up and force them to call up more arms by the eight game.
Its fun watching Tampa and how baseball is played by them. Don’t need a homerun and make contact, move runners over. pitch and play defense.
the good sign is that we have held our own against Houston, Yankees and the Dodgers, where we usually would get stomped. They keep manufacturing runs and they will be right there at the end. If we don’t win the division we should really be disappointed.
I saw a stat that in the last week we are hitting .141. Its getting pretty miserable to watch, about the only hits we are getting is when we are jammed and a blooper gets past the shortstop or second base. Are pitching is still doing well, what a lineup in San Diego and they are struggling to hit as well.
22 years we have waited for a series win against the Yanks! Hopefully we can stay healthy and get our offense going as are pitching can compete in the big leagues this year.
