    I used the standard transom mount bracket. Now I am just waiting for the ice to leave the IGL’s so I can test my installation

    Thanks for the replys I will get the 2nd transducer. Does anybody know the part number for the transom mount high speed transducer?

    I have been down this road too. I am going to put number 4 on my boat tomorrow night. 3 bad ones in 2 seasons. The guy at scheels told me the problem is they are not 100% water tight and water seeps in and damages the crystals.

    It is a heavy duty cover, I think it is a vinyl. It fits pretty good but is stiff and kind of abrasive. I am thinking about seeing if someone can sew a soft liner in it.
    Or will it be a waste of time?

    Looking at buying one this weekend. I noticed the motor was mounted as low as it could go so I am just guessing it will need to be raised to get better performance.
